Drive with an airconditioned, comfortable coach from Munich and visit the famous and fabulous castles built by the fairytale King Ludwig II.
These unique buildings in the midst of the Bavarian alpine landscape will
definitely fascinate you.
The first stop of our tour will take you to Schloss Linderhof, the smallest castle of the Bavarian king. It’s up to you to decide whether you choose to have a guided tour through the castle in english live, have a walk around the beautifully landscaped grounds or simply enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and get excited by the marvellous scenery.
We will then continue our tour to Hohenschwangau. Our stay there will offer you ample time to both try out the famous Bavarian cuisine in a restaurant and visit the castle of Neuschwanstein as well.
You can decide whether you want to see one or both castles from the inside with a guided tour and accordingly buy the tickets from our tour guide in cash.

It was well planned, however the time is limited. The guide was well versed on the area. We were limited on the time we had.

We loved this tour. The guide, Pedro, was wonderful and helpful. Also gave us good recommendations for food. The castles and village were beautiful. Would have preferred for the entrance fees to the castles to be included with the overall tour fees as opposed to being in the fine print. Other than that everything was great.

Overall the day trip is set up well with efficient bussing and enough time to see Linderhof, Neuschwanstein, the gardens, and have lunch. However, our guide Maria significantly worsened our trip experience. When we were headed back to Munich from the castle, she showed up 20 minutes later than the departure time she had set. All others were on the bus and she gave the excuse that she had to send a birthday message. We were therefore late arriving back to Munich. Maria’s descriptions of the castles were incoherent. Once we arrived at the castles, Maria abandoned us, and we had to follow another tour company to understand where to go. On the bus, we would have preferred silence instead of having to listen to her describe the things she saw in front of her or hear her discuss Hitlers failed art career.

Lots of travel time between Linderhof and Neuschwanstein, it’s beautiful countryside, but not much else. Loved our Linderhof guide. Neuschwanstein now does audio guides which weren’t as good as the guided tour we had done years ago. Taking the bus to the bridge was completely worth it to us!
