You get to see one of the most beautiful castles in the whole world and travel through some absolutely to die for scenery. My guide, Jake, was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and so goood on the history of Bavaria and the castle. It’s been one of the best days of my life.

All told, we spent around $400 for four seats on a bus and a twenty minute tour. The tour guide from the agency isn’t your guide in the castle; you pay more for it. If you can buy your tickets to the castle tour online, you can probably arrange transportation for a lot cheaper. The agency guide was very nice and organized though, and it’s nice to not worry about getting there, especially if your Deutsch ist nicht gut.

We had an excellent experience at the castle and our guide, Jeff was terrific with his history and humor. The walk up was truly steep at times, but was a great workout. Make sure you go to Mary’s bridge as part of the tour. The bus ride was very comfortable and I highly recommend this tour!
