You may have a classic gumbo as a seafood treasure, boudin beignets and other authentic nibbles. Popular New Orleans' cocktails are available for purchase like the distinctive Pimms Cup with a ' twist. Pimms originated in England, but the Pimms Cup cocktail was dreamed up in New Orleans. Nate was an incredible tour guide! The food stops were all delicious and gave a wide variety of the foods created in New Orleans & eaten by the wonderful people for decades! As my first food tour ever, it was definitely something I will want to do in other cities - or come back for more in NOLA! Highly recommend this tour of French Quarter as well as a tour of food! Incredible experience!!

Milton was a fantastic host. He was knowledgeable about the food, the city, the history of both, and was a great host. He made sure that if we had any questions, they were answered, and all of the food we tried was fantastic. The restaurant recommendations were very much appreciated as well. I plan on recommending the tour to everyone who goes.

You eat so much food!! Go hungry. This is an amazing way to taste the famous foods of New Orleans. I’ve done food tours before, and this one by far had the most food. Bring a water bottle since some places are just grab and go and other places you sit and have water. Our guide, Milton, was great. He had a wealth of knowledge that he shared.

We had an amazing time on this History + Food Tour of the French Quarter! It was the perfect mix of culture, storytelling, and incredible food. Despite the intense summer heat at 1PM and a heat-irritated crowd to manage, our guide Nate did a fantastic job. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and answered all of our questions with patience and insight. he is an excellent storyteller. The food stops were generous and every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. Even my partner, who has visited New Orleans many times, discovered new historical facts and tasted foods she had never had before. That is saying something! We would 100% recommend this experience to friends and family, and it is a great way to explore the city’s rich culinary and historical traditions in one go. The world does not talk much about Creole and Cajun food, let us please make it mainstream!!
