Discover the history and mystery of the French Quarter, also known as the Vieux Carre. See prominent landmarks such as the St. Louis Cathedral, French Market, Spanish Cabildo, Pontalba Buildings, Place D'Armes, and Napoleon House. 1.00This was the most overpriced activity in all of New Orleans. $65 per person for less than one hour of a mule carriage ride. Couldn’t hear the tour guide, his microphone was so low and he talked very monotone. Would not recommend.

Our tour guide, Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining the entire time; and the carriage was covered, so it wasn’t too hot (Thank goodness!) Jonathan also made plenty of references to where we were from during the tour, which was a really nice touch and kept us engaged. Definitely recommend to anyone considering this experience!

5.00I went at 7:30pm at night for the carriage ride that was pulled by Patsy the mule. So much fun and informative and I enjoyed how knowledgeable the narrator was.

2.00Sorry, I would like to give them a better review but I can't. It wasn't awful, it just had room for improvement. The entire experience was only worth about half of what we paid ($130 for 2 persons). It lasted 50 minutes for a promised 1hr tour. I totally understand it isn't always in their control but the certainly could have stopped and given more narration. That was what we were paying for. Maybe it was because we were their last run of the day. The driver was obviously knowledgeable but she took one big breath then dutifully and unenthusiastically spoke into a 2 inch battery operated speaker, overmodulating the entire speach. She was also prone to babbling to herself and no one could tell what she was saying. The ride itself and carriage were roomy and clean, it was just the rest of the presentation that was lacking. They could do much better for the amount paid.
