We cover the storied history of New Orleans, discussing everything from our resilient culture to the aging architecture. While our carriage tours cover a ton of history, they aren't boring history lectures. Absolutely one of the BEST tours ever. The driver of the carriage was so knowledgable, friendly, personable and conveyed his sense of love for the French Quarter. He had a great sense of humor as well. We loved his mule Carmelia and you could tell he loved her too. We are so happy we took this tour and if we visit again we will take this tour again. We actually went back to a restaurant/bar he recommended and it also was great. Thank you Trip Advisor and Royal Carriages for having this tour. Best for knowledgeable, factual and friendly tour.

The reservation and instructions were seamless. Our driver was friendly and helpful. My issue was really my problem, I have a hearing disability and missed much of his commentary. If he had a mic it would have been better for me. Overall I would recommend this tour.

We made reservations through Tripadvisor.com Best way to reserve a spot on the tour. Our tour guide was Jonathon. The mule who lead the carriage was Praline. Jonathon knew a lot about the area. He took us all over the French Quarter. We learned a lot and saw a lot. We were on the first tour of the day. I highly recommend this carriage tour through Royal Carriages.
