While our carriage tours cover a ton of history, they aren't boring history lectures. Discover the history and mystery of the French Quarter, also known as the Vieux Carre. See prominent landmarks such as the St. Louis Cathedral, French Market, Spanish Cabildo, Pontalba Buildings, Place D'Armes, and Napoleon House. Learn about important events such as the Great Fire of 1788, Battle of New Orleans, etc. Admire the architecture of Creole Esplanade, Old Slave Quarters, French Coffee Houses, Spanish Patios, and Ironwork Balconies

4.00Overall a very good experience, our carriage driver, Mike, was very knowledgeable and although we have visited the area several times in the past we learned new things about the French Quarter. One unsettling incident occurred about 3/4’s through the tour when a car pulled up behind us and started blowing his horn. Words were exchanged and there was a moment where my wife and I felt very uncomfortable. The remainder of the tour was pleasant. At the completion of the tour Mike was gracious enough to take a picture of us with Erma (the mule).
