We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our guide, Lacey’s approach was to highlight the turbulent and troubled past of the city (above average violent death rate) and how many feel this creates psychic phenomena. She did this in a way that made for great storytelling, while demonstrating respect for the city.

GOTTA LOVE CHAT GPT Our experience with tour guide Graham was very disappointing. From the moment the tour began, he came across as rude, uninterested, and as though our group was bothering him. His delivery was monotone and unwelcoming, which immediately set a negative tone for the experience. Whenever members of our group quietly spoke to one another about the tour, he would glare at us and make comments to the crowd. While some of our group occasionally talked amongst themselves, it was never loud enough to disrupt the tour. Instead of handling it professionally, Graham seemed irritated that guests were not giving him 100% attention at all times. The most upsetting moment was when he threatened to remove our friends from the tour if they didn’t stop talking. Considering we each paid $40 for the experience, we expected a guide who was engaging, respectful, and able to manage a group with professionalism and patience. Instead, the atmosphere became so uncomfortable that we chose to leave the tour early and forfeit the money we had paid. What made it more noticeable was seeing other tours around us led by different guides who were far more engaging and welcoming. Even when people in those groups were talking, the guides did not seem bothered and continued leading their tours professionally. That contrast made our experience with Graham stand out even more negatively. It also makes us wonder how he handles tours that include children, as kids can naturally be more talkative or distracting at times. A tour guide should be able to navigate those situations with patience and courtesy. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we received.

Great tour with Robby Brennan! He is knowledgeable, interesting and energetic! He had a story for almost every block and was happy to answer any and all questions NOLA-related. We took the smaller tour (12 of us or so) and felt it was a good value - you could hear Robby Rob every time we stopped no matter where you stood in the group. We would definitely do it again!

Although this tour description includes witches and vampires, never were these words uttered by our tour guide. In addition, the tour indicates a stop at La Fitz blacksmith bar, and there was not one. We did not even pass by the bar. For a city so storied, there were very few stories provided even though the tour guide indicated he could speak for an hour just about the Andrew Jackson hotel.

The Nun, Morgan was everything you would want in a tour guide, AND MORE! The way she shared history and stories was captivating! She is knowledgeable, humorous, well versed in the history of New Orleans and she was loud enough for our large group to hear what she was saying. Her eyes and wardrobe totally fit the vibe and her voice was the icing on the cake!! Book a walking tour with the nun and you won’t be disappointed!!

Morgan was our guide and she was great!! Dressed the part, had pointed teeth on her canines and contacts that made her eyes look spooky!! She told great stories and really knew her history. It was a lot of fun and so glad we did it!
