5.00Shout out to our girl Katie for being a great tour guide! She adds a dark humor flair and was just an overall pleasant human being. I was overwhelmed when selecting which of the many spooky tours to go on (analysis paralysis). And the tour guide really makes the difference. Her stories were great and so interesting. Such a great experience and would highly recommend. (I also never write reviews for anything).

5.00The world is a stage. Or your oyster. Or both. Upon recommendation from Rhoda the concierge we tried a pair of new spots across from our Julia Street hotel: Happy hour at Rebirth was a jolly hootful awakening; we sang and danced and swapped lies with the bartender and the all-round-everything-including-oyster-shucker. Laissez les bontemps rouler! Dinner at Galliano. Alligator creole. BBQ pork belly. Fried green tomatoes with lump crab meat. Server recommended the pork chop laPlace. We hailed a wheelbarrow to roll us home. Next morning beignets at Cafe du Monde. Oysters at Acme because we can. Hopped the streetcar to the Garden District. Lunch at Camellia Grill. Happy hour at Cooter Brown’s. Headed back to the warehouse district and couldn’t bypass an old friend who I stopped to visit. Of all the great advice bestowed by philosophers, saints and poets, and bards from Shakespeare to Twain, the words of this man may resonate most keenly now: “The only thing we have to fear…”

5.00They should request Morgan the Nun. She was interesting, funny and knowledgeable. I did not know much about the history of the city so I found it to be very informative. There was a bathroom and bar stop along the way. I think it would be a lot of fun if you came with a group of friends.

4.00This was an entertaining tour. Scott was fun. It was a large group so not always easy to hear. I enjoyed visiting some of the older buildings and hearing the history. The bar stop was cool but could have been the last stop so it wasn’t so rushed. Really good tour. I would recommend.
