Pretty cool experience. There were a lot of people but the company did a good job of keeping it all organized. The ride was smooth. Got to see a lot of animals, including a lot of gators.

Our tour bus driver Derik was the best. We learned so much about recent New Orleans history as we traveled as well as food eating advice. Steve, our experienced boat captain knew and shared so much information about the terrain, the swamp wildlife and their historical context.

We were picked up and driven to the swap in large tour buses. They were comfortable and Tyrone extraordinaire was entertaining. The swamp tour itself was great with captain tim showing us lots of wildlife and entertaining us.

So much fun! Our guide, Jacob, was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation in and around the swamp. He fed some raccoons by hand and really made an effort to ensure everyone on the boat was able to get great photos and see everything he was talking about/pointing out. We lost track of time out there we were so engrossed in what the swamp had to offer—alligators, raccoons, egrets, “swamp chickens”, snails, turtles—and I’m sure I’m forgetting even more! Highly recommend this as an excursion when you visit New Orleans!
