The New River Gorge is the second oldest river in the world. Coursing through a 1000' deep canyon that is lined with soaring sandstone cliffs it is no surprise that this area was recently designated as a National Park. Wildlife sightings are abundant and guests will finish their river trip beneath the famous single arch expansion bridge known as the New River Gorge Bridge.

What To Expect
Enjoy an awesome day of whitewater rafting through the New River Gorge National Park. You'll run over 15 rapids rated up to Class V and enjoy breathtaking scenery along the way! This is an 8-12 mile trip depending on the water level the day of your trip. Guests will also get to surf, river style, in one of the "holes" on the river, jump off of jump rock and even have the option to swim an easy rapid. Lunch and transportation to and from the river is included on this full day adventure. A trained, professional guide will be guiding your raft.

5.00Viator did Not inform us we needed to be there one hour early in order to catch the bus. I called the adventure company on another matter and they informed me. This was an awesome trip, I’m so glad we did not miss it. Excellent guides-great instructions-great white water. Even lunch had vegetarian options. Great people to spend this great time with.

5.00Our guide Chris was exceptional at keeping us rowing together and keeping us in the boat. He knew his local history and the names of most large rocks.

5.00The whole thong was wonderful. Even when our raft flipped and somehow I magically pulled myself up and back in. The lady infront of me fell but she was rescued. Very exciting! I feel terrible I didn't have cash when it was over to tip with. And of course I don't have a cash app. 😞

5.00The entire trip was amazing, with incredible staff from check-in to departure. The safety briefs were professional, the guide on our raft(Marcus) was super, terrific instructor, we had people in our raft from 19-65, and he took care of them all. Go do this trip!
