We begin at the beer gallery, selling over 500 beers from all over the world. More than 200 of them are from the Czech Republic. Each is a story in itself. The ambiance is relaxed yet lively, with locals sharing animated conversations about their favorite brews. The owner, our friend Honza, is an adventurer. He often adds a personal touch to the place with tales of his daring mountain expeditions.

5.00This was a really cool tour through some very unique “local” Prague establishments. The NYE fireworks blew me away despite very foggy weather . Apparently “banned” by the Prague gov’t a few years ago for various understandable reasons (cost, environment, animal welfare), the various Prague neighborhoods (private citizens) set up and hold their own fireworks display in a mad competition of one-upsmanship trying to outdo one another. Excellent vantage point to take in this wild display of +/- 10 neighborhoods holding simultaneous fireworks. Late night EDM club is something like Burning Man constructs in a post-wall East Berlin setting - this I will remember for a long while. Daragh is a great host and a very interesting conversation as well.
