Really a great trip overall and worth it but I don’t see value in the upgrades — I experienced everything the upgraded ticket holders experienced with the exception of a tour guide. Beautiful views — go first thing in the morning.

Very nice panoramic view of New York. This tower allows you to imagine what the 2 TOWERS were, with the fountains and the memorial next door.

We attended on Halloween using the Go City Pass - there were high winds outside and when we got to the front of the queue for the lifts we were told they could not operate due to the wind. They checked them every ten minutes to see if they were safe to use and we probably waited about 40 mins until they were operational again. No issue with this as it was a safety issue so totally understood it. When the lifts got going again we headed to the observatory. It is undoubtedly a spectacular view but it was my least favourite of the observations decks we did, which included Empire State Building, Top of the Rock and Summit One Vanderbilt. This one had no real theming or experience like some of the others had, no real information about the building, it just felt a bit bland. Bought a drink at the cafe which was overpriced (not a surprise in New York) but it was pretty annoying that you couldn’t even sit down. The staff in the observatory were not engaging whatsoever. We obviously used the pass but I’d have been very disappointed if I’d paid full price.

An amazing view from the top. The bar is lovely to visit and sit to watch the sun go down. Well worth the visit.

Going during off hours (early afternoon) avoided excessive crowds. Also being in NYC during shoulder seasons minimizes overall city crowds. The history, views, and sharing with family enhanced our experience. I had been outside on WTC years ago and loved the views - this was as (or more) impressive. Only downside was the pop up wine bar was not open (!). I didn't want a beer, I wanted a glass of wine yet unless I ponied up to the restaurant there was none available. Not a showstopper, just an observation. Loved our time and I'll return again in the future.

This is a must in NYC, absolutely mindblowing experience. We even had lunch in the restaurant with that stunning view. We loved everything, we would definitely comeback.

We went at night. Very cool experience. Very easy process and felt it was a reasonable value. Would recommend it to anyone.

This is so much fun, the views are amazing and if we had not gone when the storm was on we would have seen so much more, Had dinner in the restaurant after and there views once the clouds had cleared are outstanding. A must visit in your NYC

We got a good deal via US Groupon - 4 people for less than $100 which is around half what you would pay to go to Top of the Rock or the Empire State Building. No queues to speak of, straight through security and into the lift. Lifts are amazing, up to the 100th floor in less than a minute, you don't really feel you are moving apart from feeling the pressure change in your ears. There is a wow moment when screens are lifted after you exit the lifts, then down to the observation floor. Great views over Manhattan to the North and Staten Island to the South , main problem is you are always inside so photos are impacted by glare from the glazing. Also, the really interesting stuff is in Manhattan but that's only a small part of the view. There is an overpriced cafe with a small drinking area with elevated tables but no seating. Overall an underwhelming experience, great view but certainly not worth a full price ticket.

It was ok. Empire State Building is better. Don’t waste $ in the iPad. It was annoying to use. Disappointing and the glass floor is cheesy
