Our group had a wonderful experience with Lesli! She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fun as she shared historical stories of Newport. The food stops were really good, too - we were here off-season so they have to make a few changes in the itinerary but still I highly recommend this tour! We discovered a couple of places that we will definitely go back to during our week here.

We had a great time on this tour. We had a great guide, Angel. We met some nice folks, tried great food and drinks. We really enjoyed the history lesson along the walk. I would take this tour, again, and highly recommend.

Angel met us in a historic area of Newport and guided our group through a lovely afternoon of local tastings and Newport history. The 6 local food offerings were diverse and delicious. We especially enjoyed the amazing ice cream. It was a chilly misty day and Angel was so personable and gave us the perfect mix of history and local tidbits to know more about Newport. Excellent afternoon.

The tour was well balanced with history and visits to different parts of the city that we had not been to prior to the tour. Two of us opted for the drink surcharge. It was great value. The Jane Pickens was a great surprise and a cocktail I will make at home! Our only gripe was we found ourselves still hungry at the end. Some of the portion sizes were tasty but smaller. We would still recomend this tour. There are two stops without a bathroom break.

This was not worth the money. I’ve been on many food tours while traveling, and this did not measure up. There was a lot of walking and very little food. We might have been given 10-15 minutes at each food stop to eat A SMALL SAMPLE OF A FOOD ITEM, and then we were walking again. There was no time to sit, enjoy, and socialize. At one stop we weren’t even given a plate for our sample taco, but were subjected to the owner’s marketing speech. I do not recommend this tour.
