5.00Angel, you were fantastic! I really appreciated that you’re a local—it added such an authentic touch to the experience. You were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and your knowledge made the tour even more enjoyable. It was the perfect blend of culinary delights and local history. The food was outstanding, and I loved learning more about the area along the way. I highly recommend opting for the alcohol option—the drinks were excellent. My favorite stops were the ice cream shop and the James Beard–nominated restaurant. The lemon ice cream was unlike anything I’ve had before and the ramen noodles from Yagi (James Beard nominated) was perfection, I will be craving both again when I travel home.

5.00I had such a fantastic experience on this food tour in Newport! Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the tour was perfectly balanced with fascinating history about the town. It really gave me a deeper appreciation for Newport beyond just the scenery. Our guide, Angel, truly made the experience unforgettable. She was fun, sweet, energetic, and incredibly engaging from start to finish. You could tell she genuinely loves what she does—her enthusiasm was contagious! She shared interesting stories and historical details in a way that never felt overwhelming, just really enjoyable and easy to follow. Each stop on the tour was thoughtfully chosen, and everything we tasted was amazing. Between the great food, charming streets, and Angel’s lively personality, it felt like the perfect way to explore Newport. We loved trying foods from different cultures and testing out things that we wouldn't normally gravitate towards. Everything was delicious and Angel was an incredible tour guide. She’s fun, personable, and educated us on the history of Newport along the way. We had so much fun laughing and eating our way through newport! Thank you again Angel, for an amazing experience!

5.00Angel made our Newport food tour absolutely unforgettable. She went above and beyond to accommodate our group of nine—our Virginia book club that’s been together for over 20 years—and made us feel so welcome from the start. The tour itself was fantastic. The food was delicious with a great variety at each stop, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. We loved getting to experience different spots around Newport without feeling rushed, and Angel’s knowledge and personality really brought the whole experience to life. It was also very reasonably priced for what you get, which made it feel like an even better value. If you’re considering a food tour in Newport, don’t hesitate—ask for Angel. She made it special for all of us, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
