Once inside the Skylon Tower you will ascend 520 ft. in a glass elevator to the observation deck where you will be treated to an incredible, birds-eye view of all three Niagara Falls (Bridal Veil Falls, Horseshoe Falls, and the American Falls), as well as the Niagara River and surrounding area.
You will have descend 125 ft (approx. 40m) to explore cave-like tunnels behind the Falls at Journey Behind the Falls. This experience is a treat for the senses as you’ll be able to not only hear the falls but feel them as well.
Then take a Hornblower cruise for an up-close look at the falls (seasonal: May to October), at which point your tour will come to a close and you and your guide will part ways. On your cruise, you will sail around the Niagara gorge and get as close as possible to the Falls.
In winter and spring months, enjoy the Niagara SkyWheel and Niagara Fury.

What To Expect

4.00This was a great way to ensure seeing Niagara Falls up close, behind the falls, and from a bird’s eye view up the Skylon Tower. It would have been nice to hear our tour guide better with a microphone or earpiece as we walked from the Skylon Tower to Journey Behind the Falls. Wear waterproof shoes and clothing as the mist coming from the falls is similar to a good rainy day.

4.00Tour was fine. Disappointed in my communication with Viator and to what was included. The information I received from Viator is not what was included in my tour. I specifically asked about Niagara takes flight and I was told it was included and my tour operator said it wasn’t. Disappointing since I need to now work that into my trip. Also, incline planes not operating. No fault to the tour company, but that information wasn’t provided either until a question was asked about getting to the falls.

5.00Emery was very knowledgeable but also made the tour fun! The skylon is your first stop and provides the best views of the falls and surrounding areas. Then you take the incline down to journey behind the falls which provides close up views of behind the falls but also right next to the falls. And then you take a boat to the falls for an unforgettable experience. You will get wet - journey behind the falls and the boat ride. Both attractions provide ponchos. There is a decent amount of walking. There are shops and places to get food and drinks and also restrooms along the way.
