Experience Washington DC lit up at night during this 3-Hour Washington DC Guided Moonlit Tour of the National Mall and Monuments. Make your way through the city at night via temperature-controlled coach bus, learning about various sites you pass along the way.
Travelers will have a chance to stop at 10 top sites for photos including the White House, US Capitol, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, World War II Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, and more. Enjoy the views as your route passes by 20+ additional sites including the Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery, and many of the Smithsonian museums.

There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

5.00My husband and I visited Washington, D.C. for the first time and decided to take a night tour of the monuments — and it was absolutely amazing! Seeing everything beautifully lit up at night was such a memorable experience. Our tour guide was fantastic — incredibly knowledgeable and full of interesting facts about each memorial, including historical dates and stories. It was impressive how much he knew! We visited so many iconic spots: the U.S. Capitol, White House, World War II Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and of course, got to see the stunning Washington Monument glowing from nearly every stop. I highly recommend this night tour to anyone visiting D.C., especially first-timers — it’s such a special and beautiful way to experience the city!

5.00This tour is a great way to see the sights in Washington at night and get tips on which places to go back to on your own for a better look. Washington landmarks look so beautiful at night and you can get stunning pictures. Sally and Chris are a great team. Chris gets you right in where you need to be and Sally has all the best information! A good suggestion I have would be to do this early in your visit so you have some background for when you visit during the day. You will not be disappointed with this tour! (This was my second time doing this tour- last time was November, 2021).

The buildings must be viewed at night.

5.00We had a fantastic experience. Our guide, Sally, was incredibly knowledgeable and informative. I felt we had the right amount of time at each site without making the night too long. Our driver, Chris, was adept at getting us in and out of each location and helped facilitate a great night. I would highly recommend this night tour, as the monuments and buildings take in a new look at night. An additional recommendation I would make is to visit these sites in the daylight BEFORE you take the night tour. It makes the navigation much easier.
