Experience Washington DC lit up at night during this 3-Hour Washington DC Guided Moonlit Tour of the National Mall and Monuments. Make your way through the city at night via temperature-controlled coach bus, learning about various sites you pass along the way.
Travelers will have a chance to stop at 10 top sites for photos including the White House, US Capitol, Martin Luther King Jr Memorial, World War II Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial, and more. Enjoy the views as your route passes by 20+ additional sites including the Washington Monument, Arlington Cemetery, and many of the Smithsonian museums.

There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.

5.00Bus was nice. Stopped at all the greatest hits (Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam, etc) covered a lot of ground in a couple of hours. Rochelle had great stories about the city and the memorials. Chris was a fun bus driver. I've been to DC many times in my life and the night tours are always amazing. Completely different vibe from a day tour. All of the statues look much more grand lit up at night. Combine that with the holiday lights that were still up and the whole thing was magic. There is a small bit of walking and some stairs up to some of the memorials so wear comfy shoes. Our kids absolutely loved it and didn't complain despite the cold and the late evening.

4.00The tour guide was very kind. There was some confusion when she said it was a walking tour. It sounded like she was saying the bus would take us to a single stop and we would walk. Getting some passengers a little worried we had paid a lot for something we could do on our own. The tour guide also let some of her political views slip out. I love her passion, but it wasn’t the place. I did like that we were taken right to the monuments. I had a recent knee/foot issue and did not want to have to walk too much. There is some walking as to be expected, but they get you as close as they can to the monuments. Be prepared for limited bathroom stops. Especially in the winter. The bus driver and man who checked us in were very kind. There was a point where the step off the bus was lower and the driver was kind enough to offer an hand for my short legs getting down. Over all worth our money and time. Bundle up if it’s cold!

5.00Sally and Chris were great. Sally gave her phone number in case we needed her while out looking at the sites. Chris was very diligent in making sure everyone got back on the bus at each stop so no one was left behind. It was educational and the holiday season lights were beautiful

5.00A fun, informative tour. We got to see the hilights in 3 hours so we could plan what to do the next day. We were able to take beautiful photos as there were few people around. The Christmas trees we stopped at were spectacular. The guide was very knowledgeable. A very pleasant experience!
