Night Safari
The world's first Night Safari*, set in 40 hectares of secondary jungle, will unfold the mystery and drama of the tropical jungle after dusk with stunning effects. See a myriad of nocturnal animals, from fierce predators to timid forest dwellers, in their natural habitat under subtle moonglow lighting. With priority boarding, you won't have to wait in line to board the tram which takes you through the East and West Loop. Pass by a large reservoir and weave through selected habitats designed specifically to replicate the natural environment from the Himalayan Foothills to the Southeast Asian Rainforest and Indian Subcontinent. Let the guide take you on a walking trail to view some animals at close quarters. There will also be an opportunity to catch either the Thumbuakar performance of fire-eating skills OR a 20 minutes animal extravaganza at the Creatures of the Night Show, subject to weather conditions. You can choose to add on a buffet meal of local favourites and international cuisine in a charmingly rustic setting at Ulu Ulu Safari Restaurant.

They needed more animals it is a nice zoo they do alot of rescue animals and rehab. They were very educational on the explanation of the various types of species of animals.

Other than the first pick up driver who drive crazy, and fast and talked on his phone the entire time, the experience was great.

Very bad communication with the people running the tour, not the providers fault but should reiterate exactly where pick up & drop off points are. Travellers who have no idea that there are more than one hotel with the same name consequently missed tour very disappointing.

Good experience overall, night zoo is very busy If you want to walk & take photos probably not for you as insufficient time I took the tram around saw plenty of animals but didn’t get any decent photos The show is really good Sit at the bottom on left hand side for quick exit for tram queue! Pick up from hotel late which cut into the evening

There were very long queues at each element of the tour. During the tram ride, the tram broke down half way round which meant we then had to be escorted back to the entrance in small groups of 6. This resulted in us missing the walking element completely. The tour guide, Anthony, wasn’t very informative and didn’t understand questions which were asked, we also didn’t have any communication from him prior to the tour. What we did get to see of the night safari was quite good. Would we book this tour again? …..No

Flawless arrangements and a brilliant guide. Thank you Monica. I highly recommend uiu book a tour as the crowds for the night tram were huge and we were taken to the front of the queue. We saw more animals than we expected too. Very enjoyable evening

Disappointing. Very juvenile and more like a zoo than anything else. Also very, very crowded. Long lines

Absolutely amazing. Very well organised from pick up to drop off. Our guide was full of knowledge, well he had been doing it for 20+ years. Good walking shoes required.

Our guide Nicolas was very informative on the bus on the way to the night safari. He did point out the logistics of getting around and seeing everything in the timeframe of the tour time. Basically you couldn't do all three things in the timeframe allowed if you wanted to catch the bus back. We only managed to do the tram with a 30min waiting in line to get onto it and the 30min on the tram, then waiting in line for the 8.30 show and then there was time to get a drink and a quick look through the gift shop before heading back to the bus. You could catch an Uber back later but at your cost and it's a 45 minute drive from the main hotel area of town. There was no time to walk the route which takes over an hour to do as it is about 5km long so you won't be able to spend much time seeing each of the animals.
