Seeing the tarpons glide in while we were snorkeling was amazing. We got to see some interesting night creatures while the tarpons stayed close to our dive lights. The whole experience was amazing.

My husband and I had such a great time on this night snorkeling tour! We did a lot of snorkeling during the day on our trip, so it was really cool to see the different "cast of characters" so to speak, at night. We saw tons of different fish, eels, and even some baby squid. We had about 5-6 tarpons traveling with us and I was not quite prepared for their massive size, so it was quite the highlight having them swim around us as we moved through the water. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and she made us feel very safe. I had been a little nervous about swimming in the sea in the dark, but the lights they give you are very powerful and light up the whole area around you, plus the water in Bonaire is typically very clear, so the visibility was great. Everyone in the group was given a light, so I even felt comfortable turning my light off at times because I was still able to see what was around me very well. We also appreciated the wetsuits and booties they gave to us, as the water is a little bit colder at night. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, it is definitely the most unique experience we had during our trip!

We found it very disappointing. We were supposed to be in the water for 45 minutes. I don't think we made it. Jim said he had only seen tarpons once in 6 years. Guess what: with us was the second time. "Well, that's nature." If you really hardly see that no tarpons are swimming with you, I would try a little longer to see if they still come. Also supervisors of other excursions indicated that they would sign for it if they would only see tarpons once every 6 years, so this is not entirely based on truth🤔. There was a lot of swimming and we hardly had time to take underwater photos. Jim was already ahead.. All in all, I'd rather spend my money on something else. @Jim: half the amount might have been reasonable, this was really too much and too easily earned!!

We really enjoyed night snorkeling with the Tarpons. We also saw lobsters and eel (that come out at night). I thought night snorkeling would be scary—but it wasn’t, despite being surrounded by 4-8 foot fish.

Using your equipment. Seeing an octopus. Tarpons are huge. Thanks for finding my hearing aids. Very kind of you.

Jim’s guidance throughout the snorkel was perfect—he made sure everyone felt comfortable and didn’t miss any of the action. His knowledge of the marine environment and his passion for sharing it made the experience even more memorable. The contrast of the quiet night and the lively underwater world was unforgettable. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Bonaire—it's an exhilarating and unique way to connect with nature. Jim truly made it a five-star experience!

At first I was a little bit scared of the idea of snorkeling in the dark, but in reality it wasn’t that bad as I thought! It was an interesting experience; we saw tarpons who swam with and around us all the time and other beautiful creatures. 🤿 He also showed us another fluorescent secret of night diving but I won’t say much more about that, you can discover it by yourself with Jim! 🫣

Snorkeled in the dark. What a wonderful experience. Here you see a completely different underwater world than during the day. With your flashlight you search the sea and the bottom, looking for new things to see. As we did this we were constantly circled by two tarpons. We were told that the tarpons use our flashlights. As soon as they see other fish in the light of they attack and eat them. Very impressive to see! The explanation before and during the trip was clear and we were given plenty of space to ask what we wanted. We definitely recommend doing this activity!
