Snowmobiling through the Lappish wilderness is a once in a lifetime experience. Add the excellent chance to witness the Northern Lights and you have an experience like no other. We drive out to a suitable location and gather around the bonfire for some hot berry juice and snacks. You’ll get to hear about the myths and science behind the Northern Lights before hopping back on your snowmobiles and continuing the chase. Simply a-must-do in Lapland!

Please note: The driver of the snowmobile must be at least 18 years of age and in possession of a valid driver’s license in EU/Finland.

Gorgeous and so much fun. Going through the forest from twilight to near midnight was magical. Stop for food and drinks was delicious.

We traveled about 30km on board the snowmobile. The staff provided us with all the necessary clothing to fight the cold. We stopped in a hut to enjoy a hot drink and eat a grilled sausage and biscuits. The guides were very helpful and kind. Last but not least, we saw the Aurora!!! An experience to do definitely.

This was really cool to do, there was a good explanation and guidance. The group wasn't too big either. At a few moments the northern lights were very visible and you stop as a group. We were able to take beautiful pictures here. The included bbq was very tasty. Waiting in the cold and sitting on the back is very cold so good and sufficient clothing is a must.

This was an amazing experience, the tour guides were so nice and friendly and gave us great laughs which added to the atmosphere, the northern lights were amazing , definitely do this excursion

We really enjoyed this tour, zooming across the frozen lake at night and then off into the forest. We felt that the stop in the middle of the tour with the fire was a bit too long but that might have been because the weather was so bad - it was very snowy and cold and hard to see, and it wasn't great to stand around in. If it was a clear night with the aurora showing it's possible I would have wanted to stand there for a lot longer! The actual bits on the snowmobile were great and our guide was excellent. I've never done anything like this before and was a bit nervous at first but I soon got into it.

They provided us with really warm clothes before we started. We were a small group of 4 couples and a nice guide. We drove on the frozen lake for 45 minutes all together which was more than enough. Our speed reached 30km/h - can't imagine going faster on that bumpy road. In the middle of the lake we stopped to see a really big aurora! It was magnificent! After we made tons of photos in total darkness, our guide made a fireplace and gave us hot drinks and sausages to grill. We enjoyed it soo much and would do it again. I recommend bringing a bipod for better aurora pictures.

My friends and I really enjoyed this tour. Unfortunately we did not see the northern lights but everything else was beautiful ( the stars and surroundings). My bf and I were a bit disappointed though cause our snowmobile stopped working halfway through the tour so me and my other friend gad to ride with the tour guide. While my by rode with our other friend.
we enjoy the stay very much!
