Mua Caves
After a 2-hour car journey from Hanoi, it's time for us to engage in some physical activity by ascending the magnificent natural Great Wall of Mua mountain, as well as exploring the Mua cave. This location offers the most optimal spot to admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Additionally, embarking on an early hike would allow us to avoid the oppressive heat and the large crowds that gather later in the day. As the day progresses, the heat intensifies and the site becomes heavily thronged by hundreds of thousands of tourists, all due to its viral fame. If you don’t like the touristy hike, alternatively, we have a 300-step, rugged hidden gem hike at the holy and secret mountain where you could feel the serenity of nature and breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, forest, and surrounding villages.

5.00The itinerary was fantastic and long! We participated in so many activities throughout the day. If you visit in the summer, be prepared for the heat. But they will provide ice-cold water after each stop. Louis was a great guide, very knowledgeable, very funny, and taught us a lot about Vietnamese culture and history. For that price, we participated in so many different activities and saw amazing scenery. The food and drinks were also GREAT! Our group was only 5 people, compared to many other groups of tourists which are much larger, so it was very comfortable and pleasant.

He explained many historical events along the way to Ninh Binh and prepared everything very thoughtfully. All the places we visited were incredibly interesting, and the whole experience was very well organized. Thank you so much!

5.00This was probably our favorite tour of the trip, a full day of sightseeing that was very well organized and rewarding. Luis was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and articulate, always ensuring everyone on the tour was well taken care of. You also get to enjoy amazing food and travel in a luxurious van, which will make you very happy as you can get a good night's sleep on the way back. Definitely worth experiencing!

5.00We had the most amazing day with Oggy doing a full day tour of Ninh Binh. Booking direct was so easy. From the moment we were picked up it was like we were friends. He encouraged us up the mountain, to see the most amazing view of the lotus flowers below. Boat rides at Tam Coc were sensational and then a fabulous lunch after, followed by a jeep ride through the country side. We learnt so much, Oggys English was great and he shared so much with us. If we were staying longer we would definitely be booking another tour through Backstreet Tours.
