Mua Caves
After a 2-hour car journey from Hanoi, it's time for us to engage in some physical activity by ascending the magnificent natural Great Wall of Mua mountain, as well as exploring the Mua cave. This location offers the most optimal spot to admire the breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding area. Additionally, embarking on an early hike would allow us to avoid the oppressive heat and the large crowds that gather later in the day. As the day progresses, the heat intensifies and the site becomes heavily thronged by hundreds of thousands of tourists, all due to its viral fame. If you don’t like the touristy hike, alternatively, we have a 300-step, rugged hidden gem hike at the holy and secret mountain where you could feel the serenity of nature and breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, forest, and surrounding villages.

5.00This was probably our favorite tour of the trip, a full day of sightseeing that was very well organized and rewarding. Luis was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and articulate, always ensuring everyone on the tour was well taken care of. You also get to enjoy amazing food and travel in a luxurious van, which will make you very happy as you can get a good night's sleep on the way back. Definitely worth experiencing!

5.00We had the most amazing day with Oggy doing a full day tour of Ninh Binh. Booking direct was so easy. From the moment we were picked up it was like we were friends. He encouraged us up the mountain, to see the most amazing view of the lotus flowers below. Boat rides at Tam Coc were sensational and then a fabulous lunch after, followed by a jeep ride through the country side. We learnt so much, Oggys English was great and he shared so much with us. If we were staying longer we would definitely be booking another tour through Backstreet Tours.

5.00This was a such a fun way to see a few beautiful key sites in Ninh Binh all in one day! We fit in the Mua Cave hike, boat ride, lunch, Vespa ride, and a pagoda. Baki was a great and friendly tour guide that made me feel welcome and took good care of our small group. Would definitely recommend this to others who only have a day to spend!

5.00We had a fantastic day trip to Ninh Binh and thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. Our guide, Baki, was one of the highlights of the experience. He was incredibly cheerful, friendly, and engaging throughout the day. His knowledge of the places we visited and the local culture made the trip much more meaningful, and he always took the time to answer questions and share interesting insights. 5.00Hue was an amazing tour - we covered all areas of Ninh Binh - the Jeep ride was a highlight and so much fun. Lunch was great with loads of variety. Highly recommend Hanoi back street tours - they are so organised and communicate really well.
