All Captains have the full high grade navigational licence which allows the Bahriyeli to go out further than 3 miles of base port, which is a real plus when the whales are further out & enabling to see the larger whales and dolphins passing on their migrational course.

What To Expect
Bahriyeli is a 23 meter 2 mast Turkish Gulet and invites you to an unforgettable experience on a two hour sail to visit Tenerife’s resident Pilot Whales and Dolphins in their own natural environment. During the sail you will be able to see the breath taking south coast of Tenerife, Mount Teide and also the chance of seeing many different species of whales and dolphins that are passing by on their migration route including Sperm Whales, Fin Whales, turtles, many different species of dolphins, Jelly Fish and marine Birds. On board our experienced crew will be able to identify and explain what you have seen on your cruise.

3.00The ship, a bit old, was rocking quite a bit because it was windy that day. We briefly saw dolphins, but no whales. We'd seen something similar in Florida before, and it was much more successful there.

5.00Second time on this and we didn't see as much as last time however that can not be helped the whales aren't kept in a concrete box for our pleasure. Still saw a few bottle nosed dolphins and got quite close to a pilot whales. Informative and honest talks given about the plight of the cetaceans. Beautiful boat as well. Highly recommended. Dont book a boat that chases.

5.00all good, clean boat, professionally & friendly staff, I think very likely you will see dolphins & whales, without chasing them yes, full boat, but lowest prices.. Tips - I didnt find the sign where to line up easily; it is at the end of the peer, at the gate - i wouldnt start lining up early to find a good spot; we went last and found a spot (and not even sure which ones are best); you can always walk around and the boat turns often so both side can see it

1.00They cancelled our tour 15min before leaving (I'm sure that they knew the weather condotions minimum 1 hour before.We could book for the next day at 10:30h. We arrived at 10:20h (as 5 ohter people who also had tickets) and the boat was already gone because of too much people on board. The girl from the counter didn't helped us, she just said:"The boat already leaved" and talked with a new costumer! Extrem unfriendly and respectless!
Very much enjoyed this unique experience!

5.00Via Tripadvisor last Sunday 15 Feb booked this 2-hour Whale & Dolphin tour near Tenerife from the port of Los Christianos. The trip was exactly as promised on the website. No pursuit of the animals but very relaxed and therefore the animals came to the boat. We were able to enjoy whole families of Pilots (sometimes up to 10 at a time) who came very close. Also Bottlenose dolphins and even a sea turtle that passed by just before the boat swim by.
Great tour but first booking got cancelled a day before?

3.00Okay so the tour all in all was great. I'm giving it 3 stars because the first tour we booked got cancelled the day before at 11 pm?? I don't know whose fault that is but it really messed with our plans that we had for the weekend. If that was the fault of Viator/TripAdvisor or whatever than I apologize because the tour was amazing and I'd give it 5 stars otherwise. We got to see whales and dolphins. The crew respected the animals and we always watched them from a distance. The other boats got really close to the animals as our boat drove away but the whales then decided on their own that they wanted to get close to our boat. The crew always explained what kind of animals they are and could provide other information about the sea etc.

5.00We had a great two hour trip seeing pilot whales and dolphins. It was a pleasure seeing these mammals free in an ocean, rather than seeing them confined in the artificial manmade pools in the tourist marine parks . I’d definitely do this visit again if I return to Tenerife .

4.00We had a weird start to our experience. We arrived at the pier early and thought we were going to be the first to board. As we got to the gate, we were told our booking had been ‘cancelled or changed’. We spoke to a lady at the tour place nearby who said we might be able to get the 10.30am boat, to come back in 30 minutes and if not, they can book us another boat for more money. We were confused because we could see the boat we ‘were’ supposed to get on. It seemed if you had booked on by viator they would wait to see if they have space or not on the boat - it’s not guaranteed. When I asked the lady about this - she said she couldn’t tell us why and to wait. She said as we were a group of 4 to book on and pay more for another boat. I said I’m not doing that. Then, they allowed us and the others to go onboard the boat we were meant to board 30 minutes before. The boat was packed and most of the seats were taken. We managed to squeeze inbetween some lovely guests. It seems if we had booked directly with the boat we would have been first on. It was a bit frustrating for us. However, the tour itself was good. The boat had a lot of people on it. We did see dolphins and pilot whales. They spoke English, French and Spanish. The guides were nice. There were snacks and drinks you could purchase, and toilets to use.
