This was an amazing tour and our guide, Heloise, was super! Very knowledgeable about the area and the food and its history! I would recommend this tour to anyone but I would say do it at the start of your stay so you can find theses wonderful scrumptious eateries!!!

Excellent tour with Constance who loves Nice, its food and its culture and explains everything very well in English! The food tastings were delicious and this is a really great way to sample authentic, tasty Nice specialities. You will also discover more of the little streets in the Old Nice quarter. We recommend doing the tour at the beginning of your stay in Nice so you can go back to the various eateries for more in your own time later! A very worthwhile experience which we highly recommend - it's not a tourist trap at all! Merci Constance!

Sara was a fantastic guide, and this was a hugely enjoyable experience, thanks primarily to Sara's clear, insightful and interesting explanations of Nice's cuisine, culture and history. The food was simple and tasty, reflecting Nice authentically. Personally, I enjoyed everything we tasted. The tour was well paced and fun, and Sara adapted to the demands of our group with good humour and patience. It was a lovely day and doing this little tour allowed us to explore parts of the city and its food we might otherwise have missed.

This was one of the worst food tours we have done. Nice has some wonderful food but we only found that out later on our own. The food on this tour was dreadful. It started with eating a very messy sandwich sitting on a stone wall in a park. It was impossible to eat! Everything came out the bottom. Then we moved on to other places and ate some very strange things. And if you don’t like anchovies (as the guide said) you are ought of luck. There was no attempt to find us anything else. It wasn’t just one place that had the anchovies, it was several. We have traveled all over the world doing food tours and this was just not good food! Plus the guide had no organization to the tour … we walked past the same places over and over … back and forth. It was way too much walking. The tour should have been in order as you passed them…. Except maybe save the gelato for last.

If you’re looking for a chance to see Old Town from the perspective of a local and to eat lots of food, this is a great tour for you. There’s not very much walking. Thus, this tour lives up to its no diet name!

Héloïse was a great guide. The tour was filled with great food and each one had a different story with interesting facts about the origin. She also ended it with a list of the the places we went to, the names of the food and also some local restaurant recommendations. Definitely recommend it!

We had an amazing experience on our food tour with Leo! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the local cuisine and culture — it truly made the tour special. We started at Lou Balico with a delicious pan bagnat, then moved on to René Socca for the famous socca, a perfectly crisp chickpea pancake. At Sini & Jiji, we tried the classic pissaladière and barbajuan, both full of flavor and history. Leo then took us to Olio Donato, where we sampled local olive tapenade, truffle cheese toast, and hazelnut cream — absolutely divine! At Paneolio, we enjoyed generous plates of cheese and charcuterie paired with local stories that brought the tasting to life. To end on a sweet note, we stopped by Pâtisserie Cappa for the unique tourte de blettes sucrée, then indulged in ice cream from Néron Glacier and delicate macarons from Angea. Every stop was thoughtfully chosen, and Leo’s insights into Niçoise food traditions made it an unforgettable culinary journey. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Nice — come hungry and ready to fall in love with the local flavors! 🍷🍞🧀🍨
