Visit the Kangaroo Island Wildlife at night with a local guide in their natural habitat. Use your torch to see the animals that come out at night. Watch the Kangaroo's & Wallabies out feeding. Hopefully, spot some of the more reclusive attractions like owls and penguins. Be picked up from your accommodation and delivered back afterwards.

Local knowledge is key to spotting Kangaroo Island's wildlife. Find out interesting information about our local species and what makes them different from wildlife anywhere else.

What To Expect

Once aboard the bus we will take you to visit Kangaroo Island's Wildlife at night. Using our local knowledge we will do our best to show you: Kangaroo's and wallabies out and about in their natural habitat. If we are lucky we may see fairy penguins, owls and much more.

We got lucky, as our family was the sole customer on this trip. Mr. Childs was a very friendly guide who shared a lot of information and took us to places where we could see Dolphins come out in the night— got to see an abundant number of Kangaroos, Wallabies, and Koalas too. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

So amazing to see koalas, kangaroos, and wallabies in the wild! The secret koala spot was amazing! The most adorable animal was the fairy penguins though. Great guide too.

The meeting point is in front of a closed shop, but don't worry that the tour will be there. They recovered us on time at the agreed hours and we toured the island in some tactical places where we saw kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, possums, echidnas and penguins! The very kind and helpful guide, on the way back took us directly to the hotel. Highly recommended

Had to wait until I got home so I could sort out my pictures, but I truly enjoyed this great experience - we saw kangaroos, wallabies (with babies in their pouches), koalas, fairy penguins. So much fun seeing the animals running around out in the open and not in a zoo. The tour guide was great too - he knew exactly where to go and added a lot of interesting background. Really recommend this excursion!

What an incredible experience! Colin was a fantastic guide who knew exactly where to look for Australia’s most iconic wildlife. We spotted koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, bushy-tailed possums, and even the adorable fairy penguins. The best part was watching the nocturnal animals come alive—Colin clearly has a knack for finding them. Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see the real Australia after dark!
