Very well presented by Igor Rosen and Philippe. Punctual; adequate time to view/explore; thouough knowledge of events; back stories providing interactions amongst allies, resistance groups, village citizens; rich contextual relevance of local history, numerous missions (detailing plans A and B), plus the "so-what" about why missions were successful or were hindered/failed. Emphasized how deeply grateful the French were then and are today to The Allies for their Freedom both then and now. Truly, a rich experience, humbling. Touched my heart.

Our experience was the best I have ever had doing a family group tour. We had Eric as our guide and he did not disappoint. His knowledge about World War 2 history was absolutely incredible. He was so friendly and it felt like we were on a tour with a family member. I recommend this tour highly. I look forward to coming back and using the same company and Eric as our guide.

Excellent tour and guide. This tour packs a lot in one day. If you are really into D-Day you want want more time at the Utah Beach museum as it has an immense amount of detail. Our guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We liked that she also shared some personal stories of soldiers from this historic battle.

My husband and I were on a 5-week trip through many incredible countries from October through December. This day was our most memorable, and the most heart-wrenching. The tears started flowing at the first stop at the cemetery, as Igor, our guide, told us what we were seeing, including some more-personal stories. Each stop was narrated as we went, and then again as we stood looking over beaches and battlegrounds where so many heroes perished. Igor's information was beyond a recitation of the battle, but included deeper stories and insights. Igor was a remarkable guide, and we enjoyed talking to him individually during lunch and at stops. His own story of his family was touching, including recollections of his grandmother and her actions during the war. She was among the heroes. I highly recommend this tour, and if you can have Igor as your guide, you will be very well taken care of, and will come away with an unforgettable view of D-Day. We are grateful for the days spent in Bayeux, and particularly for this tour.

My Father served in World War II and in Normandy. He often told his stories about his experiences there. It was a day of mixed emotions seeing and learning more about the history, places and artifacts of those who fought in that theater. I appreciated Igor‘s broad understanding of all accounts and historical facts. It really was like a mini history course as he has a high level of knowledge and depth of understanding of this most important period in the history of France, Europe and our USA. Would most certainly recommend this tour and specifically Igor as a primer. To be sure all the knowledge he shared on the tour you will want to follow up on and do your own research to further understand World War II and the Normandy theater. Thank you Igor. Your new American friend—Yasmine.
