  Our group of eight friends had the privilege of touring Normandy with Elisa. She was so impressive with her knowledge of every aspect of the DDay invasion. We all learned so much and finished the tour with a better understanding of the events and planning leading up to the day, and the massive sacrifice, bravery and dedication from all who were there. We will always remember and appreciate these heroes. We toured the day after France’s Memorial Day and were so moved by the placement of both American and French flags placed on every grave. We were lucky to have been there during the moving laying of the wreath ceremony. Elisa, in addition to everything she shared about the historic time, researched and shared information on two soldiers, relatives of friends back home, who wanted to know more of their stories. Thank you, Elisa, for a beautiful and enlightening day. It was the highlight of our visit to France.

  This tour is made a positive experience because of hour guide. Honestly, Igore (?) was FANTASTIC. We had a wonderful day out with him and included all the places we wanted to see and a few small surprise stops sprinkled in. On top of that, when we asked him what we could do the next day, he gave us a whole bunch of different stuff to check out and we checked them ALL OUT and we loved those ones too.

  We enjoyed the small group experience and Eric was a great guide. We appreciated hearing about the individual acts of heroism, the strategies, and seeing the sties of battles. The cemetery with taps played was very moving. Driving through the small roads and seeing the homes and villages was a plus.
