Get ready to climb! Our 1-hour session will start with a Top Rope climbing introduction. A qualified instructor will lead you through the basics of indoor climbing, keeping you safe at all times. Don t worry about equipment - everything you need is included in the price. Just show up and start climbing! Important note due to safety reasons, our minimum age for taster sessions is 6 years old.

5.00We visited here on the way to Devon and my 13 year old son and 16 year old daughter had a brilliant experience, Carl the instructor was excellent, challenging and encouraging them to complete different sections of the course. Really good value for money and we will definitely visit again if we are ever nearby.

5.00The Taster Climbing Session was a brilliant way to spend an hour with the kids. Karl, our instructor, made it fun for everyone, from a 7 year old the way up to the parents! We really enjoyed laughing at our mistakes and feeling proud once we made it up. It was also a good work-out for all involved. You don't need to be super fit - anyone can do it. We highly recommend this centre. Thank you, Karl!

5.00My family and I had a fantastic time on the Taster session. So much so, that I booked an Induction session with Karl - it’s been a couple of decades since I last climbed and wanted a refresher. Karl was fantastic- professional, knowledgeable, reassuring and fun! I was quite nervous to begin with but Karl put me at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Rock and Rapid to anyone. I’m looking forward to returning with my family this week, confident that I can safely belay them myself. Thank you, Karl!

5.00I went there with my uncle today for the taster session and we thoroughly enjoyed it, I already have a bit of experience with climbing but it was my uncle’s first experience with climbing and he did great with it, especially with help from our instructor Karl who was very helpful and down to earth, I would also recommend the high ropes for anyone looking for something more casual.
