A very good driver guide gave our small group a very enlightening talk of his childhood home and the surroundings moors. The steam train was a little weak but anything with steam is grand. Very good day

Beautiful tour through the North Yorkshire Moors to Whitby seeing lovely sites along the way. Ancient Byland Abby ruins, St Gregory’s Minster, and Blakey Bank overlook were all beautiful. David was extremely knowledgeable of the history and made the day very enjoyable. Would highly recommend.

Great day. Our guide / driver Steve was very knowledgeable and gave lots of interested information throughout the day. Coach was very comfortable. Would have liked to have done the train trip but it wasn’t available on the day of our trip.

Enjoyed a wonderful Day Tour…Barry was our driver/guide. Enjoyed all of his commentary and good English humour. The tour was a good pace…unfortunately the train component was cancelled due to bank holiday weekend. However, we were able to spend some additional time in Whitby.

This is by far the most enjoyable tour I have been on out of 11 this holiday. Barry was a great guide and took us to some beautiful places. Riding the steam train was magical!

Our guide did a fine job of providing historical and cultural information. He was informative without being pedantic. I believe his last name was Allen.

John was an amazing guide and driver! Loved getting the summary of English history and perspective from a Yorkshire person. Learned about the Merlin app for birds which has been great on my trip.

We have just finished the tour of the north Yorkshire moors to Whitby. What an amazing day. Barry our driver and guide was incredibly knowledgable and we learnt soo about the local areas and the history. We first went to Byland Abby, then into beautiful Helmsley for coffee and cake and then into Whitby for a 2 hour stop off and lunch. On the way back to York we hopped off the bus and took a steam train from Goathland (Hogwarts station!) to Pickering. Barry then drove us back to York with more history tales and information. Thank you and highly recommend the tour. Everything worked like clockwork and we felt in safe hands.
