Such a lovely experience. Steve was our tour operator, and he did a phenomenal job enlighting us with stories, history, recommendations, and more. The places we saw were so beautiful, too! I would highly recommend this tour. Beyond the tour, my mother accidentally left her cell phone on the tour bus at the end of our tour. When we realized, we called the company after-hours. The manager and our tour guide, Steve, both reached out immediately and went out of their way to coordinate a pick-up. It was such a generous move from them, and I think that really speaks volumes to their company.

Had a really nice view of the snowy moor, ruined Abby and coastal town. Very special experience. Lots of stories and history being shared by the driver Ben A. If time and road conditions are feasible, I wish we can have more time to go outside of the car and took more photos of the beautiful views, so that the pictures wouldn’t be affected by the glaring affect of the glass. The driver was very friendly, a great storyteller, highly recommended.

We had the best day on the North York Moors & Whitby tour yesterday! John was an excellent guide, super knowledgeable and we learned so much from him along the way. We were also lucky enough to have glorious sunshine, which made the beautiful Yorkshire countryside look even more amazing. We loved exploring the pretty village of Helmsley, and Byland Abbey was absolutely stunning. The Moors were gorgeous too, such dramatic scenery! Then it was on to Whitby where we visited the breathtaking Abbey with incredible views over the coast and the town below. We made our way down the famous 199 steps and treated ourselves to the best fish and chips we’ve had in ages at Mr. Chips. I even came home with a little piece of Whitby jet as a souvenir! All in all, a fantastic experience, highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you John and Mountain Goat Tours!

Great tour. It was lovely to visit the North Yorkshire Moors. We especially loved Helmsley, St Gregory's Minster and the ruined abby at Rievaulx (a change from the normal schedule due to the weather). Our guide, Barry, was excellent - a wealth of interesting facts and stories and a really good driver!
