When the northern lights (aurora borealis) are coming out in the sky, you may come on out. Then we take pictures for you. No Restroom because we are chasing the lights. Please let us know before the tour if you need. We can’t promise to let you see the Northern Lights, which is Mother Nature that we cannot control. It is a natural phenomenon. 5.00Pickup First, I got a text about 20 minutes in advance that David was on his way and a photo of the vehicle picking us up. There were three other customers which they were great and everyone was very friendly. Before we started, David explained the process of how things would work and some housekeeping rules. First location We drove about 10 minutes and the stars were out. David checked his map and knew exactly where to go. He has 18 years of chasing the lights so I couldn’t have asked for a better guide. We couldn’t see but once he told us where to position our cameras, we were able to capture the first faint sighting so we were thrilled. We stayed there for snout 20 minutes taking photos and headed to our next location. Second location This was the perfect spot! The percentage increased and it was a magical experience to witness. We stayed there for a long time just taking photos and taking in the view. David was even excited with us and I just appreciated his knowledge as well as his willingness to go above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. Third location The lights were still visible but faint. At this point, we were very cold and tired so we ended a little early but well worth it and got what I came for. If you think bc you are in a car waiting that you don’t have to be dressed properly, think again! Wear the proper gear if you don’t want your fingers and toes to suffer. Overall, I’m thrilled that I got to see the lights. If I hadn’t, I would have still been satisfied based on David’s service.

5.00Cole, Joy, David were our incredible guides. Their knowledge and photography expertise made our bucket list experience so worthwhile. They took many wonderful photos to capture this surreal and spiritual experience. They did not give up until we saw the beautiful Northern Lights. Worth every penny. We couldn't have accomplished this in our own. Highly Recommended.

5.00One of the most surreal and magical experiences of our lives! I took my daughter to Fairbanks to see the northern lights, and by a miracle we saw an amazing aurora! Our guide was awesome and took us to multiple locations, and we were able to end our night after just 3 hours because we saw such great lights so quickly! He was gentle, kind, and took great pictures for us to keep for years to come. I would definitely recommend! Highly highly professional and so many perks with this company. Will be back!

1.00My wife and I had a disappointing experience with the Northern Light Chasing tour on March 21. Although the aurora conditions were excellent that night, with KP 6, clear skies, and high solar activity, the tour did not deliver the experience that was advertised. The tour was supposed to last 4 hours, but it ended in less than 3 hours. We were also taken to only two viewing spots, both near the edge of the city, where light pollution made aurora viewing much less effective. Because of these poor location choices, we were not able to enjoy the aurora as we should have on such a strong night. The photography service was even more disappointing. The photos were blurry, shaky, and overexposed, making the sky look pale and unnatural. In fact, the pictures taken on our phones looked much better. The photographer also seemed unwilling to take enough proper shots. That said, our driver, Cole, was kind and helpful. He shared useful information, made sure we were comfortable in the cold, helped take some photos on our phone, and dropped us safely back at the hotel. Overall, the tour did not match what was promised in terms of duration, location quality, or photography. Overall, our experience with this tour operator was quite disappointing. I would advise other visitors to be cautious and carefully consider their options before booking a tour with this operator. Not recommend at all!

5.00This tour is a must! Whoever comes to Fairbanks must book this tour.. This tour company is legit, and makes sure customers get to see the most amazing Aurora Borealis. David took us three different spots to see the fantastic Aurora Borealis and Cole explained well about the Aurora, local food, places to visit, etc. Grace was so helpful to plan my Alaska tour and she answered all my questions promptly. This tour is 5 star and made my 49th birthday trip so meaningful. I compared prices and this tour company had the best deal which includes professional photos. Min From LA
Spectacular Northern Lights Tours!

5.00Went to Alaska in March hoping to see the Northern Lights. Signed up for this Photography tour and we lucked out with a spectacular night. The Aurora filled up the whole sky with brillant rays of green, moving in ribbons across the starfilled sky. David was a super-excited tour guide/photographer who made sure everyone got their pictures taken against this amazing backdrop. The link for all the photos was delivered next day. This tour was well worth the money and freezing toes!
It was the best choice for Aurora observation.

5.00Planning to go to Alaska for a family trip, I wanted to see Aurora. Of course, I knew the weather and luck were the most important things to see Aurora, but I decided to apply for this tour because I wanted to get the best view under the given conditions. In conclusion, it was Taiwanese and I think it was the best choice. Despite the fact that the conditions were not optimal during the period we went, the excellent know-how and passion of our guides allowed us to travel to places where there was a good view, to observe the gorgeous Aurora, and we were very pleased to take the photos.
Comfortable way to view the lights

5.00We had fantastic views of the northern lights with David & Cole as our guides. The 6 of us rode in a comfortable, warm SUV and joined 6 others at our stops. We were the only group at all of our viewing areas. We enjoyed not having to navigate the Fairbanks area on our own in the dark as well as being able to get back into the SUV when we got too cold. Cole was friendly and engaging and made sure we were comfortable. David took great pictures and we enjoyed his enthusiasm.
