This is a group tour with a maximum of 50 guests.
Our tour operates in all weather conditions. We often see the best Northern Lights displays on nights with the worst forecasted weather conditions.
This is a real chase that may include many hours of driving. The return time to Tromsø is between midnight and 04:00
There are no refunds or free trips if we do not see the Northern Lights or if you fail to meet us at the meeting point on time.
We require a minimum of 15 participants. In the rare event that a tour needs to be cancelled, a full refund will be provided.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

4.00We went on 2 separate trips to see the Aurora, this was our second favorite but still really good. What fell just short is we do wish we had the thermal suits and better drinks/snacks. But that is somewhat splitting hairs. We didn't need it, but due to a smaller group size they changed from a large bus to a minibus and so we didn't have a bathroom on board. The team did a good job of communicating and finding a good spot, and we got great views of the aurora.

We traveled all the way from Vietnam to Tromsø, and it was worth every mile! Our guides, Bailey and Taylor, were absolutely amazing! They took us to the border of Norway and Finland, where we witnessed the breathtaking Northern Light. Their passion and knowledge about the phenomenon were contagious, and they made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout the tour. What truly made our experience special was the way Bailey and Taylor created a warm and fun atmosphere. They shared hilarious stories and anecdotes around the fire, making us laugh and feel like part of the family. And, of course, they took plenty of photos to capture the memories! 5.00We booked this experience without much pretension, but our every expectation was greatly exceeded: it was fantastic! The trip took place on a really comfortable bus, equipped with toilets and sockets to charge the phone, which took us to two breathtaking locations. We were able to see the Northern Lights, making the evening unforgettable. A special thanks goes to Nick: he was not only an exceptional guide, but he proved super helpful helping me photograph the marriage proposal to my girlfriend. I recommend this experience to everyone, 5/5!

4.00We did get to see the Northern Lights, which were amazing. The team were great and energetic, the pictures were really good. It was a long bus ride into Finland. (Maybe go to Finland instead of Tromso as your start point to see the lights). It was quite distressing getting back to Tromso at 3 am and no way home. If you are not walking distance to your hotel beware.

5.00Thanks a lot for Bailey, Soraia, Torbjørn & the Team at Chasing Lights. It’s our last night in tromso but the weather condition is really bad, which has snow storm. We can’t believe we saw the aurora in such weather after we drive 3h to Finland. The leaders are very professional and energetic. Just 20min gaps in the sky we saw the aurora, then the weather became bad again. It’s really an amazing adventure and unforgettable memory.
