We had a lovely time, and even though it was bitter cold, our guide made sure we were able to stay comfortable by keeping the van warm and building the campfire early on. The northern lights were fantastic and our guide was very knowledgeable about them as well as the area in general. Thank you for a memorable adventure!

It was amazing, we drove not far before seeing our first northern lights, we then carried on to where we had dinner around the campfire which was tasty and great time. Our guide, JJ was incredible, very kind and knowledgable, we saw some more lights despite the moon being bright

So accomodating, very focussed on providing the best possible Aurora experience. So our booked tour was with another company who didn’t show. The team from Green adventure at very last minute able to accomodate my husband and I. We drove several hours out of Tromso, south to escape the snowy weather and were blessed with a brief but amazing Aurora experience. The guide JJ was very knowledgeable and drove us safely though the stormy weather to a clear area of Norway to experience the Aurora with locally made soup. I would give this tour group and JJ 10 out of 10. And will recommend them to any and all who come to tromso Norway

We chose The Green Adventure Tours for Northern Lights experience and had an amazing trip with them, Our guide was excellent and friendly although the weather was cloudy and sky was not that clear but they made sure we see Northern Lights by taking us 4-5 remote locations and then we saw the magic.

The Green Adventure Northern Lights Tour was truly the experience of a lifetime! Our guide, Antonio, was exceptional and clearly very experienced with the roads, weather conditions, and aurora forecasts. About 40 minutes into our journey in a comfortable, safe van, he pointed out the first signs of the auroras beginning to appear. As he skillfully navigated away from busy roads, he explained exactly where we were headed and why. We passed several other tour companies precariously parked along the roadside, but Antonio went the extra mile to find us a safe, quiet viewing spot—and that’s where nature put on an absolutely breathtaking show. The lights danced across the sky, and we were completely mesmerized. Antonio also took excellent photos for us, capturing the auroras beautifully so we could fully enjoy the moment. At the same time, he helped the two photographers in our group adjust their own camera settings, clearly understanding that many people want great photos with their own equipment as well. While only nature can create something so spectacular, Green Adventure provided the perfect location, timing, and comfort to fully enjoy it. After about two hours, as the auroras continued but ebbed and flowed, Antonio suggested moving to a nearby, beautiful spot by a fjord for a campfire and meal. Even then, the lights continued to shimmer and move across the sky above us, adding to the magic of the moment. Sitting beside a stunning fjord around a warm campfire, with the auroras in the background, we enjoyed the most delicious camping stew, followed by hot chocolate and tea—and, since we were an American group, Antonio even brought along the ingredients for classic American-style s’mores. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible night. This experience was the reason we traveled to Norway, and Green Adventure made it absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough.

It was a fantastic experience. JJ was very friendly, knowledgeable & great guide. He explained the science behind Aurora borealis and why it was so hard to predict. He found a desolate area for us to relax in the wild & saw the northern lights pass above our heads. Would highly recommend.

We had a great experience led by Julien of Green Adventures. Despite the cloudy, rainy weather in Tromso, Julien remained determined and optimistic about seeing the lights. Even though most of the groups gave up and returned to Tromso, Julien never gave up. And that paid off big time. We ultimately had a spectacular light “show” including dancing lights, which were magical. To make the experience even better, Julien is an outstanding photographer. And we left the trip not only with great memories but also - thanks to Julien - beautiful pictures to remember this glorious experience. expertise we ended in Finland Julie remained enthusiast and optimistic and t

Northern lights with guide Julien and driver Davide It was amazing -I first looked at going with larger tour company and sooooo glad we went with these guys. It was fun, easy and authentic. We learnt loads about northern lights and if you are on smaller tour you get opportunity to go to places larger buses can’t. This means more probability for lights. Tromso one of best places in world for this. We drove to most northern part of Norway and had beautiful clear lights after poor forecast. Really brilliant and Juliene so enthusiastic and felt safe with Davide driving. Food was yummy and was one of best experiences ever. We will come back and go again! Kaz james and Evie

We had tried the Big Bus before and decided to pay premium for this trip thinking it’s more exclusive, but we were hugely disappointed. The tour guide was talking all the way to the driver about personal stuff, the radio wa loud and the tyres squeaky. All the noise in the cabin made other passengers think it was ok for them to talk loudly as well. The tour guide never asked about toilet breaks. We enjoyed the big bus journey way more and would suggest you take that if you want more comfort and they have toilets onboard which this tour doesn’t. Also we got way less pictures than the big bus. Thought we could get more pictures since it was a smaller group. On my plus side was we got to see really beautiful lights (but noting to do with the tour).
