Fantastic trip. The bus journey was comfortable and very well driven. Our guide Jessica was very knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. The location for viewing the Aurora was brilliant and we enjoyed a trip that can’t really be beaten. Thank you.

Our experience with The Green Adventure and our incredible guide, Antonio, was everything we dreamed of and more. We booked a dedicated Northern Lights mini bus hunt, and that is exactly what we got! Antonio's commitment to ensuring we saw the Aurora was unparalleled. He was constantly monitoring real-time weather and solar activity, demonstrating genuine expertise and determination. We were driven further out to the prime location, showcasing the flexibility and dedication we paid for. The effort Antonio and our driver David put in - driving the necessary distance and choosing the perfect spot, made all the difference. We managed to see the most breathtaking views of the Northern Lights! This experience was the main highlight of our trip to Tromso, and it was made possible entirely by Antonio's hard work, excellent planning, and willingness to do "the impossible" to find the lights. If you are coming to Tromso hoping for an unforgettable encounter with the Aurora, we wholeheartedly recommend The Green Adventure. Ask for Antonio- he is great ! We are so grateful for the professional service and the incredible memory he helped us create.

I was a little dubious as to whether we would see the Aurora, the weather had changed as we arrived in Tromsø, but what a great night we had. My friends & I all agreed that Julien, our guide & the minibus driver, went above & beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Julien’s enthusiasm & knowledge was contagious & despite a bitterly cold night & long drive out & back we had great sightings & an unforgettable experience. We were taken away from other groups of buses to a quieter location to enjoy this natural phenomenon with just our group of 15, which was so appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend & we plan to return & would definitely book again with Green Adventures. I also really appreciated the recommendations for other things to do & see around the area, which were not a sales pitch but genuine recommendations for walks, places to visit that we could do for free to get the most out of our trip. Perfect. 👌

Just back from 4 days in Tromso and the highlight had to be our Northern Lights hunt with Julian . From start to finish he was so enthusiastic. There were 10 in our group and he went above and beyond for us to make sure we had the best experience. The weather wasn’t on our side that night , very cloudy in and around Tromso so we ventured further afield . Julian was constantly checking his apps and getting in and out of our mini bus to see if there was any activity . The first spot we found , he decided , wasn’t good enough , so after 10-15 mins of watching the lights , he had us all back on the bus to continue our search towards the Finnish border . We ended up in the middle of nowhere , complete darkness but clear skies and we were treated to a spectacular show and Julian helped us all get the best pictures. He also took some himself which he sent the following day by email. We had super warm snowsuits , a campfire , food and hot chocolate whilst listening to him tell us about the lights and stars . He made sure we were safe at all times and even made a pathway through the snow so the ladies could go and have privacy if we needed the loo - ladies be warned , if you’re not prepared to pee in the snow you will need a v strong bladder as this trip is around 8-9 hours long . On our return , he made sure we were all dropped as close to our different accommodations as he could . Unfortunately, i don’t know the drivers name, but he was also super friendly, helpful and a brilliant driver . I would absolutely rate this company if you’re looking for something more personal than a coach full of people . Worth every penny and I would definitely use them again .

The two tour guides, driver and main guide were incredible! I forget their names, but they were two french tour guides. Very professional. Was a few minutes early for pick up, however they waited until everyone got on the bus, did two head counts (They did this at every stop, ensuring no one was left behind) and we headed south. The main guide was diligent, knowledgeable, very easy to talk to and best of all motivated. We were treated to Hot Choccy and Tea, Reindeer soup, with Tomato soup for the vego inclined. Lots and lots of professional photos, tips and tricks for those of us with DSLR cameras and regular mobile phone cameras. The main guide was as a wealth of knowledge about the Northern Lights, the history about Norway as well as the local indigenous people of norway. He appeared to very much care about the environment as i saw him multiple times pick up rubbish other tours left behind on our stops. We ended up just in Finland as we were "Chasing the clear sky" and what a rewarding experience we were treated to! Definitely worth the money, whole experience was from 6:10pm to 2am, would highly recommend bringing warm clothes, the thermal suits helped heaps! However, your own due diligence i.e. Good Boots, Gloves, Beanie and scarf/face covering would go a long way as it reached -15°c some of the places we stopped. When the tour is over, the guides went that extra step further and dropped us off as close to our hotels as possible (Narrow/ snowed in roads). Overall, a fantastic experience, would highly recommend for groups, mates or solo traveller, everyone felt welcome.

Majestic aurora within a 30 minute drive from Tromsø (we were lucky). Julian our guide was caring and thoughtful, he made sure that we were comfortable and found a nice place to take pictures. Strongly suggested!

They have a high rating for a reason. Our guide Jess was passionate and full of positive energy. Even though the condition wasn't optimal, we still had a fantastic time and saw plenty of beautiful lights. Highly recommend!

I went on the Northern Lights tour with Julien. Yes, we have seen aurorae, very easily visible to the naked eye, visible to the camera. But I didn't like the location. Our camp was set up next to a cemetery and that gave the whole feeling a quite strange touch.
