3.00For the amount of money we paid (~175 EUR per person) I would expect more effort to actually try and find the lights. I agree it was a cloudy day but the whole idea of the tour was to travel as far as necessary to try to find the right place. We ended up in a very nice place indeed but it was cloudy, so the chances of seeing the lights were small. We saw a little bit just as we were ready to depart, so I guess it was not a complete loss.

5.00We had a private Northern Lights Tour for our group of 15 people. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The shuttle was clean and comfortable, the gear was extremely warm, the photos that were taken turned out spectacular. Just an all around great experience. The highlight of the experience, was our guide Tomas. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable about Tromso, the Arctic and Northern Lights, but he is an exceptional photographer and person. I can't emphasize enough how much Tomas meant to the experience that we had, he was a great person and immediately became part of our family.

5.00This Northern Lights tour was absolutely incredible and easily one of the highlights of our Tromsø trip. Our guide, Barbara, was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what she does. She carefully tracked the weather and aurora forecasts and drove us to the best possible locations - and it really paid off. We were provided a warm suit, which made a big difference when you're out in the cold for long hours. We sat by the campfire, with ready-made meals, a choice of beverage (tea, hot chocolate, etc.), and even marshmallows. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tromsø. If you’re hoping to see the Northern Lights, this is the way to do it!
