  We had a scheduled tour with my daughter and we showed up at the meeting point in time however she felt sick right before departure. I contacted the company right away as I felt it would have been irresponsible to start a 7 hrs tour with a kid who felt sick. They told me they agreed with the decision however they were not ready to make any compromise and refund fully/partially or reschedule our tour. That was a loss of approx EUR 550.

  I can't tell you which was better, the views or our guide. Both were extraordinary. We had a pretty good night for viewing and were taken to a nearly totally dark meadow. We set up camp and watched the show while our guide prepared a fire, fed us and took pictures (which we could later download to supplement our own shots). I'm pretty old and chubby and our guide was very helpful in getting me through some small hills and deep snow. His efforts allowed me to have an experience I will remember fondly. Take this tour!

  Arctic explorers didn’t disappoint again. I used this company in 2019 and last night I went with them again. They always go above and beyond to find Aurora and ensure tour night is great. Highly recommend and Alberto was so great.

  Our guide Demeter was amazingly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. You are going to be climbing in the snow so bring poles for balance. Get ready for an experience of a lifetime!

  Pick-up directly from the hotel, winter suits and boots fit (even for a bit of strong people) and kept nice and warm, guide Thomas super nice and has found a great spot, seen and enjoyed the aurora borealis! Also sufficient time available. The only drawback: the bus was a bit cramped and there was only one toilet stop.

  I booked both a husky and northern lights (small bus) tour with Arctic Explorers for a recent trip with my husband and parents. I can’t recommend them enough, the Arctic Explorers team were proactively in touch with us ahead of the tours, provided all the warm winter gear and overall offered a high quality experience. The husky driving was longer than what I have heard provided on other tours and the team onsite was very hospitable. For the Northern Lights tour Alberto was lovely and tried extremely hard to get us a view of the lights on what I believe was a challenging night to find them. We did see them in the end and he took the most amazing photos which are such a wonderful keepsake.

  Our Tromsø Northern Lights Minibus Chase Small Group Tour with Photos was truly fantastic from start to finish. We were lucky enough to witness the most incredible Northern Lights display - vibrant, dancing auroras that felt almost unreal. It was everything we had hoped for and more. A huge thank you to Miguel, our guide, who was super interesting and incredibly knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the Northern Lights, from the science behind them to local stories and insights, which made the whole experience even more meaningful. You could really tell he’s passionate about what he does. Adam, our driver, was also wonderful, very friendly and professional. Together, they made a great team. They were super flexible throughout the evening, constantly checking weather conditions and adjusting plans to make sure we had the best possible chance to see the lights. Their dedication and hard work truly paid off. Even though it was -12°C, the snow suits they provided kept us surprisingly warm and comfortable, so we could fully enjoy the experience without worrying about the cold. They also took amazing photos for us, capturing memories we’ll treasure forever. If you’re considering a Northern Lights tour in Tromsø, this small group minibus chase is absolutely the way to go. • Out of the World Northern Lights Chase Tour

  Wow! A fantastic tour from start to finish with Arctic Explorers. Our guide (Dimitar) met us at our pick up point and went back to HQ to get our thermal snowsuits and boots. We boarded our small mini-bus and had an amazing Northern Lights chase. Dimitar was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to look for. We were treated to some spectacular displays. Half way through the tour we had a lovely campfire, food and toasted marshmallows. On the way back to Tromso, Dimitar spotted an incredible aurora. It was other worldly and felt very ethereal with a beautiful clear sky and lots of stars. The tour was long and we didn't get back to our hotel until 1.30am but the enthusiasm from our guide to ensure we saw the displays we saw was second to none. I would 100% recommend this tour. Thank you, Dimitar and for the amazing photos you captured of my sister and I.
