Welcome to Oslo’s Urban Oasis & a little Piece of Nature in the Heart of the City. I want to share with you the authentic Norwegian athmosphare through Hidden Gems and delicoius Norwegian food. You will be surrounded by old and cozy streets, bridges, rivers, breathless viewpoints, traditional Norwegian wooden houses and dramatic waterfall.

On the tour, we will taste:

Fish soup

Smoked fjord trout

Boiled organic egg

Pickled fennel, pickled cucumber, fried potatoes, and dill mayonnaise

Fried moose steak

Pickled oyster mushrooms

Pickled red onions, lingonberries, and Jerusalem artichoke chips

Fried local cheese

Pickled delicate onions

Plum chutney, toasted hazelnuts, and honey vinaigrette

Waffle with brown cheese

Vegeterian options are avaialble up on request.

Fantastic guide (Ingunn), great food, and an excellent walk to see some sites in Oslo we would not have seen on our own. Definitely recommend!

This tour brought us out of the city center of Oslo into a neighborhood we most likely would’ve never found ourselves in. The tour was paced well with three food stops separated by walking. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as there were some muddy patches, steep areas, and lots of steps. The food was a nice overview of Norwegian cuisine.

We loved the food options, guide and tour. The walk in the park and waterfalls was so nice. The fish soup was excellent and lunch variety great and waffles also

Truly enjoyed this local tour guided experience with my group of friends. Not only were we able to learn a bit of history and take in areas we probably would’ve passed up but the morsels of delicious Norway bites was incredible. Our guide was amazing including her dog 10/10 recommend if your coming through to add this to your itinerary :)
