Great tour, great food. Small, manageable group so you spend less time organizing and more time eating and touring. The food great too!

Great walking tour of hidden gems in the city. Second time for us in Oslo so we wanted to see new places. This tour provided a great and knowledgeable guide with good stories of oslo past and present. Food was right level of tasting but was stops that did not drag out the tour. Be prepared to walk and there are two good climbs but overall a great afternoon.

Great way to see and hear about Oslo other than what tourist sites tell you. Great tastings of local food too. Loved moose salami! Annie was terrific with her stories and insights of Oslo’s and Norway’s cultures. Great choices of food venues too. Would have liked a coffee cafe as hear so much about them so for me that would have made the fifth star. Otherwise terrific and worthwhile tour.

If you're considering this tour, have the ability to walk about 2.5 miles in total, and want to have an experience off the beaten path, just do it. This was a wonderful tour! It was separated into three segments. A short walk, a long walk with about 3 or 4 steep hills, and another short walk. I'm not in great shape but I managed and, although I was often in the back, I never felt left behind or that I needed to rest more than everyone else. Our guide naturally stopped at many places along the walks to tell us stories and history that only the locals would know. My favorite was walking by the community garden because it smelled so good and was beautiful! The food places were quite tasty and it was neat to hear the history behind the food. There were a couple people with us that weren't fans of fish but still had enough to nibble on. The fact that the group is kept small provided space for some fun conversations while walking and at the food spots. This tour seemed to be a big highlight for everyone in my group's Oslo adventures. I highly recommend it.

We were lucky enough to be the only guests on the Tour which meant we had Selia as a private tour guide! She was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area and Edvard Munsch which helped us immensely when we visited that Museum after the tour. She also showed us areas of Oslo that we wouldn't normally have seen, like a great Sunday arts and crafts market where we bought great gifts for home. The restaurants where we are fish soup, smoked trout and halloumi and brown cheese waffles were great choices. Lovely quality and thoroughly enjoyable. Selia was a lovely tour guide, we would highly recommend the tour and tour guide.

The tour involves a fair amount of walking but is a wonderful way to see Oslo more like a resident than a tourist. Our tour guide Idunn was very informative and fun to spend an afternoon with.

Idunn was a delightful guide - charming, knowledgeable and helpful, and speaks great English. We learnt all sorts of interesting facts, and the Norwegian food we tasted was fabulous. Highly recommend.
