Thousand Islands Viewpoint is even more stunning in person. Tiny islets dot the bright blue sea like miniature jewels. I stood there for ages, completely mesmerized, feeling like I was in a postcard come to life.

Snorkeling at Manta Bay felt the most exciting because from the beginning, there was always that curiosity: will we see manta rays or not? The vibe felt more adventurous, with the ocean area feeling more open and natural, like snorkeling in the real open sea. The water at Manta Bay can be a little wavy, so the experience felt more challenging, but that actually made it even more fun. The main highlight was definitely the chance to see manta rays. Even though they don’t always appear, the experience of waiting and searching for them made this spot feel special and memorable.

If Bali is on your travel list, then Nusa Penida should be at the very top of it. This island was easily one of the highlights of our entire trip. Every viewpoint felt unreal, from the dramatic cliffs to the crystal-clear ocean stretching out in every direction. What impressed us most was how diverse the scenery is. One moment you're standing above towering coastal cliffs, and the next you're looking at hidden beaches and unique rock formations that seem almost too beautiful to be real. The landscapes feel wild, untouched, and incredibly photogenic. The roads can be challenging and the day can be long, but the views make every part of the journey worthwhile. If you're visiting Bali, Nusa Penida is absolutely worth the trip and deserves a place at the top of every Bali bucket list

Spending several days in Nusa Penida was a mix of awe and adventure. Every cliff, hidden beach, and viewpoint made me feel like an explorer. The freedom of walking through the island, surrounded by stunning ocean views, was incredibly refreshing. The highlight had to be snorkeling at Manta Bay. Swimming alongside majestic manta rays was unbelievable—they moved gracefully and seemed almost otherworldly. That moment truly made me appreciate the wonders of nature

Nusa Penida offers experiences that stay with you forever. Every trip to the cliffs and beaches felt like a mini adventure, with spectacular scenery and a peaceful atmosphere. The island has a slightly magical quality that makes you forget time. Snorkeling at Manta Bay was the highlight. Seeing manta rays glide elegantly in crystal-clear water made my heart race. Being that close to such incredible creatures is unforgettable. I could have floated there for hours, mesmerized.

Angel's Billabong gives the impression of entering a dream. This natural infinity pool perfectly reflects the sky, and swimming in it provides an almost magical sensation. Admiring the sunrise above the rock formations added a soft light that made the experience even more unforgettable.

Broken Beach is surreal. The natural arch and the crashing waves create a landscape straight out of a fantasy film. I couldn't stop taking photos because every angle was perfectly photogenic. By staying here, one truly feels the raw power of nature.

Our day started with morning snorkeling, then lunch, followed by an afternoon land tour. Crystal Bay’s snorkeling spot was crystal clear like stepping into another world! Manta Bay delivered multiple manta sightings near the surface. The land tour was epic too: Kelingking, Broken Beach, each spot with its own vibe. The best season for snorkeling made the sea calm and visibility excellent.

If your main goal is Manta Bay, visiting during the dry season really helps! We arrived early and encountered a group of manta rays swimming near the surface. The guides were super attentive, even taking underwater photos for us. A magical moment thanks to calm seas during the best snorkeling season.

The weather was a bit rough so we couldn't get to Manta bay but we still managed 4 stops. Boat captain and young man who looked after us in water were competent and well versed in their jobs . Boat captain was a little less friendly than guide but as a boat handler and water man myself I found this very reassuring and felt safe in his hands in what was what I would consider borderline conditions. He was completely focused on his task and between them they made the trip a fun adventure. He called the shots with the guide and tho I'm not versed in Indonesian I could get the gist of what was going on. Between them they made a very competent team and made their guests feel safe . Fish life was amazing and got to see turtles👍 From pick up at resort through to drop off back to resort with a friendly and informative driver was a terrific day and my wife and I would do it again.
