Our overall experience was a positive one; however, if you book the last appointments of the day, you may find that some of the employees are eager to shut things down well before 10:00 P.M. and begin demanding that visitors exit the area.

I really feel as if this observation deck was better than Top of the Rock. It was busy but we went at sunset and the view was unreal. They serve alcoholic drinks and have music. It’s a very upbeat environment and the staff was friendly.

I suffer with motion and BPPV, so the lift going up was an eyes closed situation for me - there is a warning displayed. Very well organised and our ticket gave us a glass of champagne - great bar staff, very funny. We chose a sunset visit, and it was very busy - you could still get photos of the city, and time on the glass floor if your stomach allowed. There was music playing and a lovely vibe. The sun setting changed the buildings colour and the view was spectacular, absolutely stunning sunset. Bar is a little pricey, but how often do you do it? Lovely experience and we recommend it.

Honestly, I expected much more. I went up as soon as it opened, and perhaps that was a plus because the space is really small, and I imagine that during peak hours it becomes even less enjoyable. But honestly, I wouldn't recommend it anyway. I have practically tried all the observatories in New York, except for the One World Observatory, and this is the one that convinced me the least. Basically, there is only the small triangular outdoor terrace and a small piece of glass floor. End. Inside, there are simply glass walls, all concentrated on a single floor, without any particular path or experience, and honestly, even the view did not impress me that much, especially since the space is limited. For the price it costs, in my opinion, it is absolutely not worth it. I highly recommend Top of the Rock, which offers an incredible view and a decidedly more beautiful and complete experience.

We went up here on a hot sunny day and it was lovely. We had a look out from each side then sat people watching with a couple of drinks, it was lovely and relaxing. Staff were friendly. Drinks expensive but that’s to be expected

Nothing special and definitely not worth the cost. Website advertises the visit takes approximately 1 hour, 30 minutes. At best it takes about 15-20 minutes and that’s a stretch. The view was nice, but at $53+ each, the value is not worth it. There is absolutely nothing to do except take a couple pictures and leave.

Amazing time. The express pass was worth the money. Felt like a celebrity when they guided us past the lines, both going up and coming down.
