Each passenger is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to their skydive.
All persons over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and all passengers must be big enough to fit safely into the harness.
Passengers under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Wanaka or NZONE may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

What To Expect
Tandem Skydiving the Ultimate New Zealand Activity! Once you decide to #embracethefear with us at the best place to skydive in New Zealand. Our skydive host will assist you to gear up and you will be briefed by one of our Tandem Masters. Your flight to altitude will take you high above the Wakatipu basin, where you will have a birds eye view of our dramatic mountains and lakes. Jumping directly above our drop zone you will experience freefall of up to 60 seconds before your Tandem Master deploys the parachute and together you glide back to earth. 5.00After all the health and safety checks have been completed the real action began. After being geared up the plane ride to the jump takes about 15 mins which was a good ride with views of the lake and mt remarkable ranges. The jump it self takes about 5 mins till you reach the ground. I had a good instructor who made me feel calm. The free fall is so quick it finished before I could take it all in and the landing was so smooth.

5.00Nzone Skydive was amazing, staff were extremely effecient and made me go from feeling very nervous to feeling extremely excited. My tandem partner was just so fantastic, reassuring and pointed out some cool locations. Anybody doing a skydive, I would highly recommend 15000ft, so well worth it.

The only downside was that i felt dizzy during the free fall because we were turning left and right often (though that might just be personal preference). Instructor was there throughout the experience, and while the process felt independent, everything went smoothly in the end.

5.00This was honestly the best thing I’ve ever done in my life. I went with my girlfriend, they kept us together in the same jumping group, were super helpful, and made us feel so safe! It was such an amazing experience and everything from the beginning to the end was truly 100/10. Super easy process, straightforward, and they ease your nerves if you have any. We felt super safe and comfortable the whole time! Highly recommend!!

5.00Amazing experience with NZONE Skydive in Queenstown! My instructor Lima was extremely professional and made me feel safe and relaxed the entire time. He clearly explained every step, performed careful safety checks, and constantly reassured me before and during the jump. He also pointed out the incredible scenery so I could fully enjoy the breathtaking views instead of feeling nervous. Everything was well organized and smooth from start to finish. Truly an unforgettable experience — highly recommend to anyone visiting Queenstown!

1.00Didn't get to Jump. I am 65 years young & quite fit for my age. 18months ago I suffered a HA, a close call. This year my fiancee, as a surprised, bought online a tandem jump voucher with NZONE Queenstown. So on NZone's web page, you click on BOOK NOW, then you SCROLL down & under Conditions there are only 3 things listed: 1:If you are 95kgs or over please refer to our FAQ page 2:The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and all passengers must be big enough to fit safely into the harness 3:Minimum age is 6 years old. Other conditions may apply for children. Please refer to our FAQ page for full details Below is the only reference to pre existing (with NO time limit) or existing medical conditions. - Medical Conditions: NZONE must be notified prior to the jump date of any pre-existing or existing medical conditions, injuries or illnesses. You will also be asked when you check in and may require an assessment from our Safety Officer. Medical conditions which could affect the customer’s safety should be discussed with a doctor to ensure customers are fit to skydive. If required, bring a medical certificate with you from your doctor confirming you are okay to participate in a skydive. Please advise NZONE if you are taking prescription medication. It is our obligation to inform you that if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or blocked sinuses on the day of your skydive, it may potentially lead to further health complications during or after your jump, and we urge you to proceed with caution. So does pre existing incude my knee reconstruction from 25 years ago? By my own volition I notified them of the heart attack I suffered 18 months ago. They stated I need clearence from my Dr, then a review by their medical team before I could jump. All done and booked a date, however my Cardio specialist advised not to jump so I cancelled the date. I then sought a refund from NZONE as I wasn't coming back tio NZ anytime soon & I could not transfer it. They kept referring to the terms & conditions. So their entire website only refers to the 3 previously mentioned things. Their T&Cs do make reference to Medical conditions but does not specifically identify any scenario let alone serious ones eg Heart coindtions. Long story short we sought a refund & got a deny deny deny then 6 weeks further on all further corrospondence was just ignored. It seems once they have your money they are not much interested in anything else. My advice is if you want do this with this company then talk to them in person and ask all the Qs to ensure clarity. I further suggest NZONE tidy up their website and T&Cs & be more specific given this is a significant sport
