Each passenger is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to their skydive.
All persons over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and all passengers must be big enough to fit safely into the harness.
Passengers under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Wanaka or NZONE may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

What To Expect
Tandem Skydiving the Ultimate New Zealand Activity! Once you decide to #embracethefear with us at the best place to skydive in New Zealand. Our skydive host will assist you to gear up and you will be briefed by one of our Tandem Masters. Your flight to altitude will take you high above the Wakatipu basin, where you will have a birds eye view of our dramatic mountains and lakes. Jumping directly above our drop zone you will experience freefall of up to 60 seconds before your Tandem Master deploys the parachute and together you glide back to earth. The canopy ride takes approximately 5 minutes. Please allow 3.5 hours for the entire experience. Our drive from central Queenstown to our dropzone, includes a drive by past, The Remarkables Skifield

5.00NZone does an excellent job...all the staff members are very professional and helpful. My wife and I felt very safe and well taken care of throughout the event. I'm 83 and this was my first jump...you are never too old to try something new and exciting. Luckily for us, it was a blue sky day and the scenery was unbelievable.
You won’t get full refund if the booing is cancelled!

1.00Our booking was cancelled due to the weather, which is understandable. However, they charged a 1.2% card payment fee that they refused to refund, which is ridiculous. We had bookings with other outdoor activity providers that were also cancelled due to the weather, but we had no issue getting a full amount back, including the card payment fee. Moreover, they returned the money through “refund” instead of cancelling the original payment, which could result in exchange loss if you’re using a foreign credit card. BOOK THE ACTIVITY WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

5.00Seeing the entire Queen Town, and the Whitehead Mountains, it feels like a real flight. SkyDive is worth a try, I personally recommend 15,000 feet, the free fall experience will be long enough.

5.00OMG- best thing ever. Did this with my two teenagers. What a day! The team at NZone are fantastic. My instructor, Linsey, was the best- put me at ease from the get-go and explained everything as we went, as well as having quite the sense of humour 😄 He also took the time to explain more about the parachutes, packing techniques etc after the jump, with my kids and me. Chris and Ivan were also wonderful instructors for my kids. Thank you all- a memory with my children I’ll be forever be grateful to have 🙏

5.00Definitely one of the best experiences that I had in Queenstown. And my instructor Linley took great care of the whole jumping process, as well as getting me some really great camera footage throughout the whole experience that I will remember this whole trip for the rest of my life!

5.00The experience was exceptional from beginning to end, and I highly recommend it. While the cost was a consideration, it is consistent with the current economic climate in New Zealand. Despite this, the activity was enjoyable and worthwhile. I encourage participation.

5.00Booked a last minute 12,000ft skydive and had a wonderful experience. The check in and briefing went smoothly and we headed to the airfield on the shuttle. Once there, they were quick to get us our gear and on the plane. My instructor, Angus, was fantastic and helped me have a wonderful time! Highly recommended!!
