Each passenger is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to their skydive.
All persons over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and all passengers must be big enough to fit safely into the harness.
Passengers under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Wanaka or NZONE may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

What To Expect
Tandem Skydiving the Ultimate New Zealand Activity! Once you decide to #embracethefear with us at the best place to skydive in New Zealand. Our skydive host will assist you to gear up and you will be briefed by one of our Tandem Masters. Your flight to altitude will take you high above the Wakatipu basin, where you will have a birds eye view of our dramatic mountains and lakes. Jumping directly above our drop zone you will experience freefall of up to 60 seconds before your Tandem Master deploys the parachute and together you glide back to earth. 5.00Everything about this experience was PERFECT! The scenery was STUNNING and everyone we interacted with from the office to our jump masters were an 11/10. My jump master was Tiby and he made the whole trip perfect and fun despite my hesitations. I hope everyone gets to experience something like this in their life. We didn’t purchase the photos and I personally don’t regret it. The photos package was very expensive and it was oddly nice to be able to just enjoy the fall without feeling pressure to smile for a camera. My wife and I did the 9000ft drop and thought it provided the perfect experience to cost ratio.

5.00Nothing short of amazing! If you are unsure about skydiving or scared because it you have never done it before I highly recommend this company. They were organized, professional, and guided you through step by step the entire process and what to expect. We dove at 15,000 feet and it was spectacular! The adrenaline rush, the views, the spins, and the amazing photos/ video you get at the end was great.

5.00Tain was a fantastic tandem diver. Made me feel safe the entire time, encouraged me to steer the parachute myself once it opened, and even let me hug him after we landed. The whole experience is simple, the free-fall has a spectacular view, and the workers feel professional and warm at the same time. Don't miss it.

5.00It was incredible. Amazing views, amazing instructors, functioned like a well-oiled machine. Never felt unsafe. I have no plans to skydive again but if I was going to I would come back here. Angus was a great instructor and flew with my buddy 5 years ago. Crazy coincidence.
Sean was the best. He made me feel comfortable and safe the whole time. An amazing experience and definitely recommend.
