Each passenger is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to their skydive.
All persons over 95kg are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone.
The minimum weight is 40kg/88lbs and all passengers must be big enough to fit safely into the harness.
Passengers under 18 years of age must have written consent from a parent or guardian.
Risk Warning: Your participation in parachuting activities is inherently dangerous and may involve risks. These risks include, but are not limited to those arising from prevailing conditions such as weather or health conditions you may have. Despite careful packing, the parachute may open abruptly or not open correctly which may result in injury. Unintended incidents may occur during the aircraft flight, descent or on landing.
Parachuting is done at the parachutists' own risk. Any person parachuting, training to parachute, flying in any aircraft being used for parachuting or participating in any activity carried out by Skydive Wanaka or NZONE may only do so on the distinct understanding that they do so entirely at their own risk.

What To Expect
Tandem Skydiving the Ultimate New Zealand Activity! Once you decide to #embracethefear with us at the best place to skydive in New Zealand. Our skydive host will assist you to gear up and you will be briefed by one of our Tandem Masters. Your flight to altitude will take you high above the Wakatipu basin, where you will have a birds eye view of our dramatic mountains and lakes. Jumping directly above our drop zone you will experience freefall of up to 60 seconds before your Tandem Master deploys the parachute and together you glide back to earth. 5.00I loved it! It was my second NZ skydiving experience, and doing it over the lake and the Remarkables is just splendid! My instructor Lima was at the top, to give me all the instructions simply (despite my limited English) and point out the beautiful things we saw. The only regret... it's so short, fast, even when jumping 15,000 feet 😁

5.00Friendly and fun vibes when walking into the reception and the same at the drop zone. Staff was very helpful and assuring and special shoutout to Jarod who was my tandem master, extremely awesome guy who gave me confidence the whole way. The actual skydive experience was breathtaking and something you won’t regret. Would do it again!

5.00Very good experience! Only one hiccup was the experience getting delayed 2-3 times due to weather and a long 1-1.5 hr wait time at the base, otherwise the overall experience was amazing.

The photo/video package was so worth it for the amazing memories. My cousin's first jump ever and now he's ready for more! Just do it!

5.00My family of 4 booked the tandem skyjump from 12000 feet and it was one of the best adventure experiences for us. Booking on the Viator website was easy. We were lucky with the weather and were able to do the skyjump on the scheduled day (just got delayed by 30 minutes). The positives - The skyjump tandem instructors are knowledgeable and they make every effort to ease our fears. They gave easy and clear instructions and video recorded the entire experience. We felt safe and comfortable to do the jump despite being our first time ever. The skyjump location in Queenstown is breathtaking with a beautiful view of the mountains, the lake and the greenery all around. Things that can be improved - The debrief can be given at the sky jump location itself instead of insisting us to visit their store in downtown for 30 minutes and then heading to the dropzone. The debrief video itself can be posted on the website for all the jumpers to view before hand and avoid waiting time. The price of the video recording can be reduced especially when compared to the jump itself. All in all still a worthy adventure experience that anyone visiting Queenstown must do.

5.00I never imagined I’d go skydiving—but I gathered some courage and went for it! NZone manages the entire experience with absolute professionalism. The instructors are true experts and make you feel completely at ease. If you’re on the fence, just do it. The feeling after the jump and landing is incredible. Honestly, it’s only uncomfortable for about 20 seconds, and once the parachute opens, it becomes peaceful, with stunning views all around. It’s an unforgettable experience. Go for it! 🪂
