1.00I booked this turtle snorkeling tour for my wife as part of her birthday gift. TripAdvisor stated that the tour was supposed to begin at 9:15AM. I even received a confirmation email stating the start time was 9:15AM. At 9:07 I received a phone call from the captain demanding to know where we were and why we were late. He stated the tour was supposed to begin at 9:00 AM, and that he was going to leave without us. Either the time on trip advisor is wrong or the captain had the time wrong but was very frustrating to be told we were late when we were following the information we had. We did make it before the vessel went underway, thankfully. In addition to this, the staff was extremely rude and unfriendly. In the water, they ignored people’s requests and questions, including actively turning their backs on us. The staff seemed more interested in talking with tour leaders from other boats than actually guiding the group. I was hoping that this would be a fun and enjoyable experience to kick off my wife's birthday but it turned out to put a damper on the entire day because of staff behavior. I would NOT recommend this tour at all.
