This world have been a good excursion, but we did not stop to snorkel, even though it was in the itinerary. This was a big part of this tour for us. Said there was some mercury in the water. So why didn’t we do another beach? All seemed to have people in the water. Also, although a nice man, our driver had a severe speech impediment and was very, very difficult to understand. Why would you hire someone you can’t understand????

There were many great things to see on this tour and tourist traps with opportunities to purchase "touristy" things. The beaches with amazing views of Turtle Island, The Chinaman's hat, and the opportunity to sit and watch the ocean with the sea turtles swimming in the surf were spectacular. The driver, Lena, was knowledgeable and provided good information. The first 2 stops, one for famous donuts and then a souveneir shop, I could have done without, but the rest of the trip was good and informative. There are obvious tourist traps along the way. I would have enjoyed longer time at the beach and maybe cut out the first two stops (donuts and Jamie's).

It’s a long day, but you see the highlights. Our driver, Leena went out of the way to make it a memorable experience by taking photos and providing refreshments. We were slightly disappointed with the snorkeling experience. It was a one hour stop with a long, long walk to the beach. We didn’t see very many turtles, but you can’t blame that on the tour company!

Company kept in constant contact regarding pick up time and place. Any emails were answered promptly. Cousin Miah picked us up on time. Wonderful guy. Warm friendly, good banter. Very very knowledgeable. An expert tour guide. The tour itself was varied as we passed around the island. Comfort stops and ability to purchase food were plenty. As was the free coffee and nuts. We couldn't have had a better introduction to Hawaiian culture and scenery. Mountains to coastline. Mongoose to turtles. What a wonderful day. Can't thank our "cousin" enough.

It is absolutely terrible experience! Worst tour in our life! Bus pick us up at cruise port-27 people and he told to everyone, that he is retiring driver, but because nobody available “they” pool him from home and he supposed to do tour… He has speech defects and nobody undeserving anything… When we figure out that he will be the tour guide- we start protesting, that legally he can not be tour guide, because speech disability and he has to call office for his replacement… He did call office and one lady from us all talk and complain, but office refused to replace him… It was 9 hours of zero understanding even for us on the 5 rows, never mind people on the end the bus… It was not tour for that big money, it was just “shopping” stops all the time…. Was sooo bad, that all of us hardly waited to the end and was very happy that it is finished in 9 hours (early then supposed to 10 hours). And everyone took towels for some swimming and snorkelling (like it is show in description)…., nothing like that happens…. Only we were push for shopping stops, that nobody was interested! Drivers name is Jim Pecan from Aloha sunshine tours! Dear Viator, this your reputation , so, please, avoid that kind of local providers in any coast! We really appreciate if we will be refunded with part of our expenses and time spend on that terrible tour! Faina and Alexander Vassiliev
