I had the absolute pleasure of taking a tour today with Summer from Aloha Sunshine Tours during my very first visit to Hawaii with my partner, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, she was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, and attentive. Summer not only guided us seamlessly through each destination, but she also shared detailed and meaningful insights into the sacred history and culture of Hawaii, which made the experience so much more special and memorable. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and that all of our needs were met—and then some. Aloha Sunshine Tours is very lucky to have someone as genuine and passionate as Summer on their team. I’m so grateful for this experience and will absolutely be recommending this tour to all of my friends and family. Mahalo!

The guide was friendly, helpful and drove well. We signed up for the days activities which included: snacks, snorkeling, swimming at the beach - those things did not happen. The itinerary given is a 3rd party itinerary and is not the trip signed up for. We packed bathing suits, towels, no snacks because we were told they would be provided. What was offered was water only. We were picked up at 730am. And didn't have an opportunity to eat until 1pm even though we passed several places with food options. The website said all snorkeling gear would be provided by them, there was no gear on board. Lunch was at a food truck and while pretty tasty-youre only given an hour to eat which seems like a lot of time but is not when you have to wait 30 minutes in line to get your food that was pre-ordered and then wait for an open seat to eat or sit on the ground. The stops that needed more time felt rushed, the stops that needed less time we sat around waiting to leave. While it was nice to see the sights passing by and our driver was good, overall we would have chosen a different tour to get to do the things we thought we had paid for.

Papa P wasn’t just a tour guide — he was an absolute highlight of our entire trip! His passion for Hawai‘i’s history made every moment feel alive, and he shared it all with so much heart. He brought so much joy and energy to the day that the tour felt more like an adventure with family. And that family‑style lunch he prepared for us? I loved every bit of it — such a thoughtful, delicious touch that made the whole experience unforgettable!
