Our driver & guide Henry was fantastic, kept us entertained while driving safely & touching down regularly on most tourist attractions like the snorkelling at Turtle Bay beach & exploring the Hawaii landscape as well as the Dole plantation famous for its high quality pineapples & a variety of macadamia nuts tasting, Diamond’s Head, volcanic coral rocks, shrimp lunch A great day out

My family of 4 (kids ages 3 & 11) had a fantastic time! We were able to see so much of the island without having to drive, park, or plan. Our favorites include the blow hole, lunch at Shrimp the bomb (shrimp, chicken, and vegetarian choices were all delicious), and the Dole Pineapple Plantation. We saw so many turtles at the snorkel location, although the water was much murkier than at other swim locations we saw. We would definitely recommend!

Sarah was a great guide, very patient and understanding we are on vacations and was hard to get back to the bus on time. The only bad thing was the a/c in the bus not working so it was hot.there was people with kids who had to leave the tour on half of the way.

An engaging and very worthwhile trip to see main highlights of the island of Oahu. Plenty of breaks and suberb food stops. Snorkeling experience with turtles cherry on the cake. Johnny the guide is very professional and knowledgeable - looked after us all very well and made it a great day, keeping us all entertained. This is a good trip to take at start of holiday to familiarise you to the island especially if you're going to hire a car.

Such a delightful experience! Cousin Darcy was our guide and I love that he was born and raised in Hawaii so he shared a wealth of knowledge and experience that can’t be easily replicated. Our tour was on a smaller transportation so it felt personal and relaxed despite visiting tons of locations. My 12yo was hesitant about the tour at first (it was an early pick up and all day experience) but by the end she said she thoroughly loved it. Great value for the money, especially if you’re doing your tour with Cousin Darcy!

The tour was interesting with many stops. The driver was knowledgeable and friendly. The bus was a little old and the air conditioner was not working. It was very hot in the van! The microphone was not working correctly the whole time which made it hard to hear her. The lunch was not that great. It would have been nice to stop at the food trucks that were nearby.

Our guide, Darcy Souza, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. He welcomed us like family and shared so much about the island. He truly went above and beyond—taking us to try malasadas and more—and made sure we had an amazing day. Darcy, if you’re reading this, thank you! I hope to see you again 💛

A/C did not work full strength. Beach stop was disappointing! We must’ve passed 2-3 nice bleaches and stopped at a rocky beach and were told to ignore the unhoused people (there were several encampments). Little to no sand area.

As we reflected on our family vacation and shared our favorite experience from our week on the island, one thing was unanimous: the Grand Circle Island Tour was, by far, the highlight of our trip. It wasn’t just because of the beautiful places we visited—although they were incredible. It was because of our tour guide, Darcy. On Monday, our first full day on the island, we were greeted by Darcy. He told us he’d had a last-minute schedule change and had only been assigned our tour the day before. Looking back, that last-minute change was an absolute blessing. I was especially nervous because our son has special needs and uses a wheelchair. Before the tour, I had been told his wheelchair would need to be broken down and stored in the back of the van at every stop. With each stop lasting only 15–20 minutes, I worried we’d spend most of our time assembling and disassembling his chair instead of enjoying the experience. As I wheeled his chair to the back, Darcy smiled and said he had rearranged everything to make room so the wheelchair could stay fully assembled. It may seem like a small gesture, but to our family, it meant everything. It allowed our son to fully experience every stop without added stress, and it showed us from the very beginning what kind of person Darcy is. Throughout the day, Darcy’s knowledge, enthusiasm, and storytelling brought the island to life. Even more impressive, he managed to keep our 15-year-old and 11-year-old off their phones and completely engaged—a feat in itself these days! He took the time to get to know each member of our party of seven, making everyone feel welcome. He was patient, kind, funny, and incredibly accommodating to our son. By the end of the tour, he didn’t feel like a guide anymore—he felt like family. We now call him “Cousin Darcy.” If you’re considering this tour, don’t hesitate—and if you have the opportunity, absolutely request Darcy. He transformed what could have been just another sightseeing excursion into one of our family’s most cherished vacation memories. We arrived with a little trepidation and left with unforgettable memories… and a new honorary family member. If you get Darcy, tell him the Sauceda’s said ALOHA! 😊
