Maximum weight is 350 lbs. Maximum height is 6'8". Waiver is required prior to adventure and participant must have no previous medical conditions; minors must have waiver signed by parent or legal guardian.

CHECK-IN TIME IS 30 MINUTES BEFORE DEPARTURE. MUST BRING PHOTO ID FOR CHECK-IN. The boat leaves PROMPTLY at departure time.

What To Expect

Please arrive 30 minutes before departure and bring a valid photo ID for check-in. Begin your adventure at 7192 Kalanianaole St, Ste. E111, where you’ll board a 50-foot (12-meter) power catamaran and set out across the stunning waters of Maunalua Bay. As you cruise, take in views of Diamond Head Crater, the Koolau Mountain Range, and Koko Crater. Upon reaching your dive location with crystal-clear water, your guide will provide a safety briefing and demonstrate how to operate your self-propelled electric submarine scooter. This eco-friendly scooter experience offers a fun and effortless way to explore Hawaii’s underwater world up close. Follow your guide beneath the surface and glide among colorful tropical fish, coral reefs, and graceful green sea turtles. After your 20-minute underwater adventure, you’ll have time to swim, snorkel, and relax on the boat’s shaded deck. Enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages as your guide shares stories about the island’s natural and cultural history. Your two-hour tour concludes with the opportunity to purchase professional photos or video footage of your dive, an unforgettable memento of your Oahu experience.

Our family of three adults and two teenagers enjoyed the journey to a reef right off the shore of Oahu for the unique scooters -- we were surrounded by fish. And we also jumped on the Sea-Doo scooters, which was a highlight of our trip to Oahu. The motorized vehicles let us soar through the water and even leap out of it like dolphins. What really impressed us was the large number of people who were dedicated to our safety. There were people on the main boat, on a support boat, above the water, and below the water at all times. Despite being in deep water, we felt well guided by the tremendous staff.

Excellent excursion, I had a great time. Captain and crew are great at what they do and explained everything we needed to know before we "dove" in. Scooters are awesome and easy to maneuver. There were 3 groups and I was in the first one. When I was done I grabbed the snorkeling gear and swam around the boat until it was time to get in. Thank you!

I wish I had more time to drive the scooter myself. Spending $360 for 2 of us and with just 20 mins under the water with less than 5 mins of time to drive the scooter myself self was not what I was expecting. I appreciate the divers as they had to spend most of the time with us under the water. I felt like more I was next to an aquarium. A bit disappointed with the experience.

I went a little under the weather worried about the pressure change in my sinuses but everyone was super helpful and put me at ease. Very nice crew, pics are worth it. Saw mostly fish underwater but then spotted dolphins and turtles overhead. Probably better to go earlier in the day! Got to snorkel around while waiting for others to finish up which was also fun!

Did the submarine scooter activity and what an amazing experience it was. Our boat had 29 people on board and every single person on that boat was amazed by the experience of scooter submarining. The team at Island Watersports makes sure one diver is with each participant underwater at all times. They take amazing pictures which you want to get to purchase to have the memories forever. They are very reasonably priced as well! The amount of fish right in front of your face while underwater is insane! We also saw multiple sea turtles. This was a highlight of our honeymoon in Oahu! What an amazing crew we had lead us!

Great trip and guides. We saw turtles and tropical fish. The turtles kept coming up around the boat. This trip is well worth the money.
