I went in this tour in July 14, 2025 and it’s operated by Rabbie’s. It was my first time taking a tour with them and I loved it. It’s funny because I saw an add from them months before in Facebook but I didn’t book directly through them because I’m a last minute kind of person. I booked this tour the day before. The small tour really made it feel personalized, and Nicola our tour guide went above and beyond. I recognized her from the ad, the familiarity even if I didn’t know her made it easier to connect and feel comfortable around them. Nicola was fantastic and she was great to chat with, really informative. She shared so much knowledge and insight, it was easy to engage with her and learn more about the places we visited. Nicola's expertise and enthusiasm really shone through, even when the weather wasn't perfect, she helped us appreciate the beauty of Scotland in every condition. She really connected with everyone in the group and went out of her way to make the experience special, especially with the extra stop that held meaning for someone with Scottish roots. That kind of personal touch makes all the difference. Would I do it again, absolutely.

TOO long. The original schedule called for 0830 to 1830, but we were out until 1930. Viator did not make it clear who was actually offering the tour--it wasn't them--but a subcontractor. We weren't given the name of the sub and had no idea who to look for, so finding the correct group was more of an issue than it could/should have been. Our guide, George, did an excellent job and we enjoyed him very much. The bus was short on legroom for anyone over 5'10", which I am. The AC barely functioned and we ended up using partially opened windows for necessary cooling during the entire trip. The review requires a recommendation (yes/no) in order to continue. I would only recommend the tour if the bus issues were remedied, and the length of the tour shortened somewhat to return by the stated hour in the information.

This was a highlight of our entire time in Scotland. Jeff C led our tour and was a wealth of information and humor. The weather cooperated with blue skies the entire journey. We enjoyed our time in Oban, but the highlight was definitely Glencoe and Rannoch Moor. Absolutely stunning.

Caitlin was our guide and she was terrific. So knowledgeable and funny! She also shared a selection of Scottish music during the trip which added another layer of information. Despite getting a late start due to a flat tire prior to arriving at the terminal, we still were able to see all the tour had promised.
