Honestly not worth the time at all. The scenery was beautiful which is why I’m giving it a 2 star, because I truly enjoyed getting to see the highlands, but we only got to stop at each place for like 10 minutes, the tour guide actually skipped two of the destinations on the itinerary, we were suppose to get out and see the castles in person, the itinerary said we could even take pictures, but he just drove by and said “oh look out to your left and you’ll see the castle” felt like I was completely lied to… we stopped in town in Oban the longest but it felt like it was for us to buy things, the town offered food and gift shops. I wanted to see the highlands, be outside, especially as we didn’t rent a car for our trip, so I thought this tour would be perfect, we could walk around outside, be surrounded by nature and get to see a few castles along the way but no, instead we spent most of the time in the car, I would say close to 75% of the time we were in the car, listening to someone 60s-80s music playlist, so close to 7 hours total. Not worth it at all.

Nothing can prepare you for the beauty of Scottish highlands. The magic of lochs and mountains, endless green, mix of sun, rain, wind and overwhelming love for this place. We had Andrew as our tour guide. The love and pride for his country is unmatched! I learned so much today! There was no question he would not answer. And thank you for not losing me despite all my failed attempts to get to the wrong bus 😂.
