The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

5.00Started the day with hotel pick up by Georgie who was part of our crew for the day with Gary and skipper Jacob. First stop at Hill Inlet with a guided walk with Georgie and Gary who gave an informative talk and were happy to take many photos from the lookouts of the beautiful view at the top. Next we headed off to Chalkies beach for 45mins of snorkeling amongst the coral reef. A quick boat ride across to Whitehaven beach for a lunch stop and swim where we stayed for 2 hours (southern tour option- longer on the beach). Prebook a lunch before the date of your tour as no option to purchase food (only drinks on the boat) this was $21 each and well worth it… delicious. This is a boat ride for those that like a bit of adventure, our skipper Jacob did a wonderful job at making this a safe and thrilling ride over the waves. Thank you so much to Georgie, Gary and Jacob for making this day so much fun, you were all awesome. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00It was a great trip, well worth the money! We got picked up at our hotel on time and brought to their office and boats where you could rent wetsuits and prescription snorkels (card accepted). We then left in the boat which was amazing as we saw many whales as well as being able to see some up close! The boat was also the fastest boat on the water in which you can opt to sit on the side of the boat which was exhilarating with the speed and incredible views. We firstly got taken to walk up to the lookouts overlooking Whitehaven and then had time on the beach for lunch. This was followed by 2 snorkelling spots in which we saw lots of reef and so many fish!

5.00All went as per itinerary, pick up/drop off, check in, leave/return times. Crew member, Tamika & skipper, Ella were magnificent, nothing was too hard. They made it a fun, interesting & safe day. They love their work. Spotted so many breaching whales. Fish & coral at Mantray & Luncheon Bay beautiful. Great time of the year. Whitehaven Beach stunning. Thank you for a great day. Jane & Jerry
