Each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to world famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Beach and Lookout, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks, all in one day! The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

5.00My niece and I had an absolutely fantastic day with Ocean Rafting exploring the stunning Whitsundays, Whitehaven Beach, and the breathtaking Great Barrier Reef. From start to finish, the entire team – Ben, Masha and Liliy – were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best possible experience, sharing great insights, keeping the energy high, and ensuring we felt safe and well looked after throughout the day. The scenery was simply unforgettable, and the tour was perfectly organised, giving us the right mix of adventure, relaxation, and time to truly take in the beauty of the reef and Whitehaven Beach. I would absolutely recommend Ocean Rafting to anyone visiting the Whitsundays. It was a truly memorable day that my niece and I will cherish forever!

5.00Spending the day out Ocean Rafting on Riptide was made extra fun with Captain Daisy, Tori and Kyanna(sorry if I spelt it wrong). Was worried the girls wouldn’t know how to sent it but honestly Daisy knows how to get that boat to drift out better than boys we watched as we came into the harbour. Happy Galentine’s girls 💕

5.00An amazing experience. Cannot recommend enough Ocean Rafting. A very last minute decision and Ocean Rafting were very accommodating, even picking us up at our hotel with one hours notice. Stinger suits were provided at the marina and we left on time. Our skipper Mac and guide Lily were very friendly and made the day so much fun. The boat trip to Whitsundays Island was exhilarating and Max did some donuts which was so much fun. The guided bush walk up to Hill Inlet was fun and the view from the lookout breathtaking. Lily was very knowledgeable and provided some great tips about scrubbing our jewellery and bodies in the silica white sand when we got to Whitehaven Beach. My skin was glowing that night. Snorkelling was something I will never forget. Snorkelling instruction and safety was provided and flotation devices and noodles if needed. A lovely healthy lunch and cold drinks at Whitehaven Beach and hours of swimming and relaxing was so good for the soul. The return trip back to Airlie was as good as the way there and we were spoilt with lamingtons and fresh fruit. The best day trip I’ve ever done. If I ever go back to Airlie I would do this trip again. Thank you Max and Lily and all the staff at Ocean Rafting, a day I will never forget.

5.00Our group had an amazing day on the Ocean Rafting Whitehaven tour. From start to finish it was a lot of fun and a great way to experience the surrounding islands in one day. Brent, our captain, was fantastic — his positive energy really set the tone and made the trip even more enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful, shared loads of interesting information about the tour spots, and even gave us great suggestions on where to head next on our travels. Lunch was decent too. Overall, it was an excellent way to see Whitehaven and the nearby islands without needing to stay overnight. Highly recommend!
