The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

5.00I’d highly recommend this tour !! The whole day was a once in a lifetime opportunity which the crew made just that much better on thunderstruck. Daisy was a great captain and Paige really brought the vibes and made the trip that much more special.

5.00I had an amazing day out on the boat with my two energetic, fun, and informative guides; Ben and Ally! Although the weather wasn’t ideal for a day out on the water, they made the best of it and provided a great experience overall. They kept the energy high as to not let Mother Nature get us down, and were very friendly. They were also very informative about the dangers of our adventures, and super communicative overall. We had to change our route a bit for the snorkeling experience, but they still made it happen. Overall, very happy with the experience. My favorite part was definitely the boat ride. Make sure to bring things to keep you dry if you don’t want to get wet. But that was my favorite part… and their music was very involving and energetic as well! I hope to make it back someday to visit with them again. Don’t skip this!!

5.00The trip was awesome! Crew - Jonty & Josh were professional and fun. We went the Northern end of Whitehaven Beach and is highly recommended. The boat was great and the best snorkelling I’ve ever done. We also saw so many colourful fish, a turtle and a shark……

5.00We loved the trip out to Whitehaven. Ayla and Kai were fantastic and we all had a good laugh, listened to some good tunes, and enjoyed the ride out despite the choppy waters and windy conditions. The sun came out nicely for us when at the lookout, the scenery was beautiful. Lunch on the beach was nice (except for the pesky seagulls). Ayla’s skippering of the boat (Black Betty) through the swell was awesome. Felt safe and enjoyed the riding the waves. Recommend bringing a spray/wind jacket, especially for the trip back to the marina. Thanks for a great day.

3.00I cannot recommend this experience for children. The boat ride was too frightening for my 5‑year‑old son. The rafting was extremely bumpy, and the driver performed many spins that were not enjoyable for my family. It may be fun for young adults, but it is definitely not suitable for kids.

The Ocean Raft was fast and great fun, Whitehaven beach and the whole Whitsundays were beautiful and the snorkeling was much better than I was expecting. Brad & Ali we’re really friendly and looked after us, always felt safe. Would do it again for sure

5.00We went on the full day trip with Nick, Ruby and Loki as our crew. It was a fantastic day. We had been e-mailed prior about the weather conditions and give options as they were expecting windy conditions. The ride out to Whitehaven was exhilarating whilst feeling safe the whole time. The crew checked in with us often to assure we were doing ok. The whole day was laid out perfectly - from the hike to the lookouts, to the snorkelling and then finally the allotted time to relax on the beach. Highly recommend Ocean Rafting and if you are lucky enough to get the same crew- your day will be golden! Thanks for a fantastic day trip!
