Each Ocean Rafting day includes an exhilarating ride to world famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Beach and Lookout, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks, all in one day! The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing you to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays.
Ocean Rafting offers two different Whitehaven Beach tours to choose from, the Northern Exposure and the Southern Lights tour. The significant difference between the two tours is that the Northern Exposure offers more snorkelling time and the Southern Lights offers more Whitehaven beach time.
Ocean Rafting is the only tour operator to have direct access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and secret snorkel sites around the Whitsundays ensuring a memorable underwater experience.

Northern Exposure
Includes snorkeling at two sites, a stop at Hill Inlet on Whitehaven Beach and a guided walk. Ideal for those wanting maximum snorkeling time. Check-in at 8am for 8:45am departure. Returns 3:30pm
Pickup included
Southern Lights
Visits both ends of Whitehaven Beach. Includes one snorkeling site and a Hill Inlet guided walk. Ideal for those wanting more beach time. Check-in at 9am for 10am departure. Returns at 4:30pm

My partner and I did the Northern exposure tour, everything from seeing playful dolphins/ turtles to the peaceful hike and snorkeling in the beautiful reef, was all magnificent! We were on the boat Thrilla with Kurt and Bernie, they are the absolute dream team! They made us feel comfortable, and brought to the table so much fun, education and passion, we love them! Thank you Ocean rafting, we’ll be back for more adventures!

What an amazing day - the boat trip was heaps of fun, great communication, lunch was beautiful and fresh, being ahead of the crowds all day was also a plus. Highly recommend this tour, snorkelling was the best we've ever seen. Thanks for a perfect 5 star day!

5.00Best thing we did while in Airlie. Boat crew Ben and Bernie were amazing, went above and beyond and kept an eye out for my 15yr old with ASD who didn’t want to dive ( so mum and dad didn’t miss out).

5.00Fantastic, why spend over an hour in a slow cruise out to whitehaven, great fun great crew, Jess and Cody were excellent, made it fun & exhilarating, we had 5 kids on board ages 2-7 all had a ball not scared in any way. Cody chatted with everybody including all the kids, Jess great captain for the day. Highly recommend either the half day or full day tour with this company. We were lucky at Whitehaven tidr was going out great views, then stopped at a stunning private beach for a snack and swim.
