Are you ready to soar over waterfalls, zoom through pristine native forests, and be enlightened through a hands-on cultural and ecological experience in Okere Falls, Rotorua? If so, then Rotorua Ziplines has you covered. Suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, a network of ziplines, swing bridges, and boardwalks will have you in awe for 2.5 hours as you fly, walk and gaze at the stunning taiao (Environment) that is Ōkere.
Born through an intimate connection with the Ōkere Awa (Kaituna River), this joint venture between Ngāti Hinerangi and Rotorua Rafting’s Ōkere Falls born and bred, Sam Sutton, has been created to showcase its mauri (spirit) and importance with Aotearoa’s soon to be premier zipline experience.
Ensuring that our taiao is enhanced through the very operation will have every guest leaving a tree in their name as Rotorua Ziplines reforestation project plant its way towards 60,000 native trees by the end of 2025 to see Ōkere Falls thrive for generations to come.

Get ready to zip, zoom, and wow through Rotorua Ziplines! This isn’t your average trip — it’s a 2.5-hour adventure soaring over lush native bush, waterfalls, and the iconic Kaituna River. Zip Over Kaituna River: Fly above one of NZ’s most famous white-water rivers as the rapids roar beneath you. Waterfall Magic: Glide through the forest and over THREE breathtaking waterfalls. Native Forest Fun:Swing bridges, boardwalks, and ancient trees make this trip unforgettable. Māori Stories & Reforestation: Discover local history and how your adventure helps restore this special environment. Risk Disclosure Ziplining is an adventure sport, and while Rotorua Zipline follows the highest safety standards under NZ’s Adventure Activity Regulations, there are inherent risks involved. These include slips, trips, and exposure to heights. You’ll be fully geared up and briefed before takeoff. Follow your guides’ tips, and you’ll be soaring like a pro! Have a medical condition? 5.00Nui and Johnny were AMAZING hosts right from check-in through to the end. We were well informed and given lots of options to try out on the course… they were knowledgeable about the area and the forest flora, fauna and birds. Affordable pricing and I definitely recommend to anyone wanting to be adventurous and try something different! I’ll be back to try your other activities 💜

5.00We had an absolutely amazing time at Rotorua Zipline and rafting! The zipline course was thrilling, smooth, and set in stunning scenery—huge shoutout to Ellie and Nui, who were fun, confident, and made everyone feel totally safe while still keeping the laughs coming. The rafting was just as awesome. Pedro was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, calm, and confident. He made the rapids exciting without ever feeling overwhelming and turned the whole trip into a memorable adventure. Top-notch guides, epic experiences, and nonstop smiles. Would 100% recommend both of these experiences.

5.00This was an INCREDIBLE experience and a must do if you are in Rotorua. We have zip lined before but we also had a couple of beginners with us and they did amazing. We had Meg & Maria for our guides, and we couldn’t have asked for better gals! They were so kind and made us feel very safe on the courses. They were also so delightful and knowledgeable especially about the ecology in the rainforest and other recommendations nearby. We were able to store our personal items at the “main” desk securely, and they even went the extra mile by giving you holders for your phone and taking photos throughout the excursion, which they uploaded for FREE. Yay! Thank you for an amazing afternoon!

5.00Great experience, great staff, Rafa and Sharpe. Highly recommend. reasonable price. 2 hrs is great for our family. 6 people are a good size for us. Enjoy the atmosphere that Rafa and Sharpe provided for us.

5.00In two hours our guides, Josh and Benny took our family from zipljne to zipline, enthusiastically sharing fascinating information on land, nature and culture. This venture,while in the midst of a stunningly beautiful landscape, actually keeps improving the Forrest rather than damaging it. We had a lot of fun!
