Nik totally made our private jungle & waterfall tour in Yanbaru unforgettable! He is knowledgeable about the floral & fauna and kept checking in on us throughout the walk. The safety gear he brought for each of us was a total peace of mind. Would totally recommend him as a guide!

It was an enjoyable river/jungle trail walk in the morning which ended at the foot of a waterfall. In the afternoon, we went for kayaking along the inland sea and mangrove area. Nik is a great guide with an intimate knowledge in the flora and fauna of the area.

We chose the kayak and jungle trekking tour with a swim under the waterfall, and it was absolutely amazing. Nik was very kind and helpful, tailoring the tour to our needs. As we didn't have a car, he also arranged for a pick-up directly from our hotel. He took us to a stunning beach for lunch with an excellent bento box prepared with local ingredients (there are also vegetarian and vegan options). A wonderful experience among mangroves and jungle adventures, highly recommended! Nik was so kind and knowledgeable that he also gave us useful advice for the rest of our trip to Okinawa. Thanks again! P.S. Nik made our adventurous day even more special with the beautiful photos he send us.

We had a fantastic time on the jungle river trekking tour! The whole trek took about 3 hours, and even though we're not very sporty, it was totally manageable and enjoyable from start to finish. Our guide, Nik, was absolutely great – super friendly, funny, and made us feel very comfortable throughout the tour. He even offered to pick us up from our hotel, which was a really nice touch. We had such a good time with him that we've already booked a snorkeling tour with him in the next few days. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a bit of adventure in nature!

Awesome short and easy trip which more than met our expectations. Nik was a very pleasant tour guide. Trekking through the river was a great experience, crowned by a refreshing swim at the waterfall. Interesting jungle flora and different spider „families“ along the way. Thanks, Nik, would love to do a longer trek next time! 👍

My experience with Nik on the Jungle River Trek was smooth, adventurous, and truly beautiful. At the meeting point, there’s an option to either drive with him or follow behind (a 10-minute drive) to the starting location. For those seeking a bit more adventure, there’s also an option to hike up to a higher waterfall. This was a fun and rewarding challenge! Enjoying tea and a sweet treat (provided by Nik) by the waterfall was a wonderful way to relax and take in the surroundings. During the track Nik explained more about the plants and insects home to Okinawa, this made the track more fun and informative. This Jungle trek was a true good addition to my trip in Okinawa and i really recommend the trek if you want to see more of the local nature.
