This was a brilliant tour with Ahmid. Please look at your records to see if I have the name correct and the spelling because he was/is an amazing guide who you are so fortunate to have working in your company. He gave us (Elaine and Keith from Sydney, Australia) THE most comprehensive tour in a happy, companiable and knowledgeable way. We were able to interact with him all through our walking journey, enjoying the visuals, the cultural practices, the food and his personable delivery. We felt like old friends and neither Keith nor I shall ever forget this wonderful evening.

I booked on "get your guide" travel platform a 3 hours Food Tour Souq Waqif & Cultural Tour of Msheireb. Our guide was Ahmad; a friendly, service-minded, informative and easy-going man with a good personality. He was very knowledgable about Doha, the local food, traditions and culture and ready to answer all my many questions. We visited the Waqif Souq, several restaurants, cafes and museums/galleries. We tasted interesting food and drinks and received plenty of explanations. I learn a lot and enjoyed the tour very much; total recommendable.

Our first day in Doha, Qatar and we wanted to understand a little more about the country and alternative food options ... so we booked on a trip and Ahmad was the perfect guide.. A great mix of walking and eating, saw us have a fantastic tour. Ahmad is so interesting and he makes the trip so interactive... we ate a 5 different places + a coffee place + a tea place and probably managed 10000 steps.. seeing and understanding a bit of Doha which we would never have found it be confident enough to do ourselves.. Thanks Ahmad .. it was truly a great trip!!!

I was visiting Doha for work, so time to explore was minimal. So glad I did this tour as it gave me an insight into life in Doha, the history and of course, the food. I saw parts of Doha I probably wouldn't have found on my own, strolling around the souk and adjoining areas en route to various food stalls and coffee joints. Ahmed was great at tailoring the tour to what I seemed most interested in on the day, I wasn't expecting to learn about the history - slave trade, pearl divers, oil industry - but I did and found this super interesting. The food element was also great, learning why it was a tradition and how each dish is made. You also get an insight into the different cultures, tasting not only Qatari foods but also Egyptian & Jordanian. I'd recommend you show up hungry. A great tour, you learn lots & eat lots. Thanks Ahmed & team.
