This was a great way to see a variety of places in and around Gyeongju. Despite the bus being almost full, the English guide, Alan, and the Chinese guide, Simon, did a great job of keeping everyone on time and also keeping things moving. They were extremely friendly, engaging and went out of their way to assist anyone. They did a great job of advising people how to take best advantage of the time, to plan their bathroom breaks, when it would be a good idea to grab food or a snack, etc. It made for a very enjoyable, easy day. The bus was comfortable and had a fun futuristic/retro vibe to it. Pickup was very easy. You just wait outside at the street level of where the specific exit and subway station they mention is. The lunch break takes place in an area with a variety of food choices, so you can do your own thing if you'd like. They do have a vegetarian option. You will get a message via WhatsApp with the four options so you can plan ahead. I think overall everything was well timed and located well. Alan and Simon did a great job of keeping everything on track. My only suggestion for the tour company would be to skip the lunch stop and add that time to the stop with the Daereungwon Tomb Complex. I would have loved more time to tour the park, see the museum, and then tour down the adjoining food street.

We had a wonderful time on the tour! Our guide Kayla was incredibly knowledgeable about the places we visited and was super funny and enthusiastic throughout the whole day! We learnt so much about Gueongju and Korea’s history and visited places that we otherwise would have missed. The bus was very comfortable and Kayla was incredibly helpful organising lunch and offering to take photos throughout the day. Thanks for a great day!

Our tour guide Kela was one of the best tour guides we ever had: she was friendly and extremely funny. She was full of anecdotes about the places we visited and gave us a concise description of Korean history iver the past 2000 years. She mingled in personal points of view in a light way.

Hyony was amazing! She was super knowledgeable, communicated meeting times and food options really well, she was bubbly and kind and her English is great! Plus a 10/10 photographer. The tour itself is awesome, we loved each spot we went to, plus we felt we had sufficient time at each place. :)

It was a fun experience. Hyony is a great tour guide. Not only did she educate us about the history of Korea, but she was so helpful with taking photos for those of us who were solo travelers.

It is very worth it because the tour takes you through several sights throughout the day. It would be impossible to visit them in a single day without a vehicle of your own. Katrina was our guide, she was always friendly, fun and with great explanations of the sites of interest unsaturated. Your English is very well understood. Also give good tips for your trip and recommendations in Busan. Thank you so much for everything Katrina! Highly recommended.

First, let’s be clear that this is not a small group or private tour. Having said that, we had a fantastic time with Katrina leading about 20-25 of us from all over the world in an English tour. Her English is very good and she is extreme knowledgeable. (Maybe she could speak a little slower - not everyone had English as their first language). If you want a little privacy, she is open to you wandering off on your own to see the sites. Just be back at the assigned meeting place on time or else you have to buy coffee for everyone! Katrina is great at keeping things organized and on time. That’s great since you are going to see a lot of different sites packed into one hectic day. She even organizes a pre-arranged Korean lunch so that when you hit the restaurant, there’s no waiting around. (Not pricey: our bibimbap was filling and only W13,000). It’s a longish day. Bring snacks for the bus ride. We got picked up at 9:50 and returned at 8:30. If you are in busan and want a day out of the hectic city, I recommend this trip. The historical sites are really something to behold and the greenery is beautiful. Katrina also does a Busan city trip and I imagine that would be great too.
