She gave us information re historical aspects of Old Montreal and Quebec, and lots of architectural information . She was able to juggle varying interests and information levels of her group to make sure we all learned what we wanted. I was think it was a great introduction to Old Montreal

3.00Interesting but not sure I would go again. Our guide Catherine was incredible, very knowledgeable and incredibly proud of the city and Quebecois history. We spent a lot of time inside/discussing the different banks; and I understand that is an important piece of Montreal's development and a good example of the historical French/English conflict in the city, but it felt like the banks took over the city as the focus of the tour. Still got a good sense of the layout of the Old Port, major historical milestones and some contemporary history as well.
