5.00Took a tour with Anais of Old Quebec. She was fantastic. Some walking. Took the funicular up to upper part of Old Town. Gave us lots of history. We were there for St Patrick’s Day parade which was great but once she knew that she provided all kinds of Irish history for Quebec. Recommended a great restaurant Bistro Hortus. She was great saw a lot of the old town and what we didn’t she told us the places to go.

5.00It was very informative and interesting. We got to learn all about Quebec’s history. Our guide was very kind and was extremely helpful. It is a lot more about Quebec’s relationship with other countries than interactive which was fine. We got to go down small paths that only a local would know. All and all it was great.

It not only covered the major historical aspects, but was incredibly useful for understanding what deliberate choices were made along the way to preserve the history of the city. Our tour guide Denis was wonderful and everything you want in a tour guide-super knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly. I had my kids with me and he was lovely with them. Would recommend as a family activity for kids 9 and over.
