This Quebec City 101 Tour with Funicular ride included is designed to introduce you to one of North America's first settlements. Begin your tour at 112, rue Saint-Paul, where you’ll meet your guide.
Stroll the charming streets of Old Quebec and soak in the historic atmosphere of one of North America’s oldest cities. Visit many of Québec City’s top attractions in the Upper and Lower Town districts, including Fairmont Le Château Frontenac, Terrasse Dufferin, Notre-Dame de Québec Basilica-Cathedral, Place Royale, Fortifications of Québec, and Quartier Petit Champlain, all enriched with engaging stories.
Then enjoy a scenic funicular ride up to the Upper Town, admiring views of the St. Lawrence River. If the funicular is unavailable, we can arrange a cab ride or provide a ticket to use later, at your discretion. A 15–20% tip for your guide is strongly recommended at the end of the visit.

5.00There were four of us on this tour and we all loved it. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and stopped and spoke at length about the history of Quebec and specific places along the way with great enthusiasm and obvious mastery of the information. The area is beautiful and sidewalks offer welcome relief from cobblestones. The funicular was a fun "lift" up to the higher level so there wasn't any very difficult climbing. I highly recommend this 2-hour tour to get a good history of Old Quebec and spot places you want to come back to for eating or shopping.
