One hour was plenty; some inside and some outside visits. Beautiful old hotel meets history of adventurers

Denis was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who answered all our questions patiently. He was also very dedicated to showing us the best of Quebec City, not missing a beat. Highly recommend this for a preliminary survey of the sights (and restaurant recommendations via born-and-raised Quebecois Denis), plus deep dive into history!

Very interactive. Not just someone talking at you. My guide Marie was charming and fun. The time spent was perfect.

Guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. She provided history, fun facts & some tips on shopping, resturants & other sightseeing opportunities. We were lucky, only a very small group, so felt more like a "private" tour. Also that the church at the former Catholic School was open; so interesting & beautiful. Unlucky that it poured the rain the majority of the time.

We had a wonderful tour with our guide, Pierre. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the history and gave us great suggestions for restaurants and other activities to try during our stay in Quebec. The tour went a little ove 2 hours because we all were enjoying the sites, and Pierre made sure we were able to ask questions along the way. This tour would be suitable for families, but there are a few sets of stairs in some sections. It isn't strenuous, but I wouldn't want to attempt it with a stroller. Thanks to this tour, we discovered several cafes, and off the beaten path places.

Pierre was an excellent guide. I would highly recommend him. He had tons of important information plus interesting antidotes. Very tall man so easy to spot. We like smaller groups and there were only 12 in our group.
