The San Juan Gate, which was the main entry into the walled city during its Spanish colonial Era. where you see the impressive Cathedral of San Juan Bautista, the second oldest Cathedral in the western Hemisphere.

5.00Hubby and I booked a last minute, late afternoon Old San Juan walking tour. Charles was our guide. He was terrific. Interesting and educational, without being professorial. Two hours, relaxed pace, plenty of photo ops. I’m not usually a fan of guided tours. I prefer to just take off and explore on my own. But I’m glad I made an exception for this one. If you want to see the sights and get a better understanding of where you are, I’d definitely recommend it!
