Following this, your experience takes a thrilling turn as you descend into the deep dungeons and chambers beneath Old Town Square, accompanied by an expert guide providing insights into the interior’s unique history.
Learn about Prague’s most significant public execution and twisted tale of The Clock master creator’s fate, emperor Charles IV.’s golden era, the locals’ fight for freedom and democracy over the Second World War!
As a bonus, enjoy a breathtaking view from the top of Old Town Hall tower.
*WITHOUT Underground option does not include interiors!
Public transportation options are available nearby
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
❗️Available also as an option WITHOUT Underground (does not include interiors), please be careful what option you select & book !
Please note: This is a combined „package“ type of experience, you will meet two different guides – one is our own, the second is Old Town Hall’s official guide. This way, you get two different locals’ perspectives.
Please note: This is the only such "visitable" underground space in Prague for guided tours. It takes around 20 minutes (!) and the rest of the Old Town Hall interior tour are its historic halls - above ground.
❗️To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start. Late arrivals create confusion and it may not be possible to locate the group afterward. *Please note that late arrivals will not be refunded.
Not recommended for children under 10 years - longer walk, a bit too heavy on the amount of information
For parents with toddlers: please bring a carrier instead of a stroller
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Adam, our guide, was great around the Old Town. He was very knowledgeable and engaging. We hadn't appreciated that the Astronomical Clock & Underground Tour was a separate part conducted by one of the official town hall guides but it was fine. We had also hoped to hear a little more about how the clock actually worked.

Would absolutely recommend starting your Prague trip with this tour. Ella was an excellent guide, sharing useful information from political history to her favourite places to eat, drink and suggestions for unique souvenirs. We spent just over 2 hours walking with Ella, and learned so much new information and noticing more despite exploring Prague ourselves in the days prior. The group size is kept small which is great for asking questions and hearing the guide. Ella was a brilliant guide, so friendly, funny and informative- her English is excellent. Thank you for a lovely end to our Prague trip!

Our guide in Prague, George, was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of the city from the very beginning. With each brief stop, he brought the place to life with facts you wouldn't find in your average travel guide. George gave great local tips for food, hidden gems and places to explore after the tour. If you're visiting Prague, we highly recommend you do a "Get your guide" tour, and hopefully with George as your guide – he really made our trip unforgettable!
