The festival takes place every year on the last Saturday of August and attracts more than 700,000 visitors. It features two parts:

- Nighttime fireworks, showcasing traditional shell fireworks, synchronized music displays, and breathtaking starmine performances.

Additional Info

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

For the round-trip bus option, you’ll arrive back Sendai Station around 4 am before the first public transport services begin, so please arrange your onward travel yourself.

Due to traffic restrictions after the fireworks, the bus waiting time can be long, and departure from the venue may be as late as midnight.

From the meeting point or the parking area to the viewing seats, you’ll need to walk 30–90 minutes due to traffic restrictions—please wear comfortable shoes.

The daytime fireworks competition may not be visible depending on transportation and road conditions. In the case of rain, the event will be held as a general rule, and the tour will proceed. If the event is cancelled or postponed due to severe weather or other reasons, the tour will still proceed as the decision will be made on the day. Please note that we cannot offer refunds for seating fees in such cases, so please understand in advance.

Wet wipes or pocket tissues: It would be very convenient if you bring them with you for meals, restroom breaks, etc. Please bring them with you

Raincoat and rain boots (required!): Please refrain from using an umbrella as it may inconvenience other customers. In case of rain, please wear shoes that you don't mind getting dirty or bring rain boots as some areas may be muddy

Flashlight: This is a large park without any buildings nearby. Although floodlights are installed, it would be very useful to have a light to illuminate your path, so please bring a flashlight or similar device and use it when moving around.

Please note that tripods are not allowed, so please understand in advance.

Children under elementary school age may enter without a ticket only if they do not occupy a seat. If a seat is needed, please purchase a ticket.
