My brother and sister in-law, my wife and i booked Overlord tours for a 4-day private tour, just the four of us. Having to say Overlord tours was the best thing we ever did, the 4 days were amazing, the vehicle was new clean, our tour guide was Jean, he was like a professor, what a wealth of knowledge about everything in Normandy, (this is the guy to get). Jean went beyond being a guide for us, what a pleasure, we went places i feel most people never get to see, we customized our day and went off the beaten path, to some it up you will love overlord tours for your adventures in Normandy and if you are lucky enough to get Jean as your guide thumps up, wish i could give it more then 5 stars, (side note you can take a nap in between going to locations, it was the best) thank you again Jean for such a great trip. see you again.

We did a private day tour of Omaha and Utah Beaches with Remi and it was great. I study WWII. My wife does not. Remi made it interesting for both of us. He shared many, many stories and brought the beaches to life. We were spending 5 days in Normandy and did our tour on day 1. Based on everything we learned from Remi, we designed the rest of our days and had a great time. Thank you Overlord Tours!

Our guide Jacque was extremely informative and interesting. He provided everything we wanted to know about the area and the beaches during the war but also gave us the older history of the area.

Our guide Lucas was superb! He was very knowledgeable, engaging and helpful. He was very kind to an older couple to make sure they were accommodated for the tour and understood. He got to know our interests and tailored the visit to our desires. He recommended places to visit and spend more time based on our interest level. Highly recommend this tour company and this guide. I would do it again on our next visit.

## Powerful and Unforgettable Normandy Experience Our private tour of Normandy was truly one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip. We were promptly picked up at the port in Le Havre and spent the day with our outstanding guide, Lucas, whose enthusiasm and deep knowledge brought the history of the region to life. Throughout the day, we visited Omaha Beach, Normandy American Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, and Bayeux. Lucas was professional yet very personable, making the experience both educational and deeply personal. One of the highlights of the tour was the excellent collection of historical photographs and maps he shared throughout the day. These resources helped us truly understand the battles, troop movements, and significance of each location in a way that made the history come alive. Lucas was incredibly respectful of the history and sensitive to the emotions connected to the events we were learning about. His thoughtful approach made the experience even more impactful. Being a local guide, he provided insights and context that we simply would not have received otherwise. We left Normandy with a much deeper appreciation for the sacrifices made there and feel incredibly grateful to have experienced it with such an exceptional guide. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and meaningful Normandy tour experience.

Amazing tour! Lucas was such a great guide, very knowledgeable and really knew his history and the area. We had a very safe and courteous van drive I believe was Stephane. We had such a fantastic day. The restaurant we stopped for lunch was perfect and very fast. The best tour we’ve been on thanks to Lucas.

Thanks to our tour guide, Jean, we had an incredible day exploring and learning about many D-Day sites. Jean.not only knew the history and heroic stories but carried a wonderful oversized notebook of illustrations to help us visualize movement on and off the beaches. He was flexible in giving us the time we needed to wander and contemplate, yet somehow managed to lead us through a jam-packed schedule of stops. Highly recommend Overlord and Jean.

I did two days of touring with Overlord: first the American landing beaches, then on the second day the British and Canadian landing sites. Both of the guides (Thierry and Olivier) were excellent. The tours were thoughtful and well-organized. This background that the guides provided was excellent, and both were able to answer the many questions we tourists put to them. Even though I had read about the D-Day landings previously, I learned a lot and it was a very different experience to see the actual locations and to hear so many stories of individual experiences. The guides being French I think is an advantage in terms of giving a complete view that includes the civilian experience of the battles in Normandy as well as the Allied experience. The experience of the tours has really stayed with me — the heroism, the bravery, the death, the chaos, the civilian suffering, the destruction — all of it. I highly recommend these tours.

We had a remarkable tour with Theo in Normandy exploring all of the DDay history. He was extremely knowledgeable and great to listen to- an excellent story teller. He made our experience so much better than we could have hoped. We will remember this tour for the rest of our lives!

Our tour of Normandy today was led by Stephane Le Prince and Jean Di Lasser. It was the best one-day tour I have ever been on. It was a well-organized day that took us to the place that served as the start of the liberation of France and Europe. Our guide, armed with a notebook of maps and pictures, was totally prepared and super knowledgeable about the facts and the stories of the war. The stories of the men that fought here are amazing and inspiring. Our visits to the beaches, cliffs, and churches were quite an experience for my wife and I, but the visit to the main American cemetery in Normandy was the topper. Great tour!! Highly recommend it!!
