I did a 7-night/8-day Omo Valley Tribe tour. Mine was a private tour. It was absolutely incredible. I had the opportunity to meet with many different tribes, including the Dorze, Hamur, Karo, Yangatum, Ari, and my favorite, the Mursi. Along the way, we ate amazing local food, including deep fried fish, kitfo, and raw beef. My driver Niko knew all of the best local spots with fresh food that was safe to eat. I had a local guide with each tribe we visited. I was given tours of each village and the opportunity to take an unlimited amount of photos and videos. The people that live in Omo Valley are so exotic, and so beautiful, that it was an absolute honor and a privilege to meet them. The hotel accommodations along the way were rustic, but in Omo Valley, they appeared to be the best available. The transport vehicle was a very nice and comfortable SUV, modern, and with great AC. In conclusion, I was very happy with this tour. If you are thinking of doing the Omo Valley Tour, do not hesitate to book with Aman Ethiopia Tours. I want to thank Amanuel for setting up the tour and my driver Niko for being so kind, patient, and accommodating. Tip: If possible, be extremely generous with your tips. Remember where you are and that the people in Omo Valley live in very poor conditions. There are many who are sick or hungry and your tips help them to survive. If I could do the trip over, before visiting with each tribe, I would have asked my driver to stop at the market to buy bags of food, soap, and bottled water for families in the villages. They would have been so grateful. Something to consider if you do the tour.

If you are still thinking about whether to take this tour, definitely "Yes". 10 days spent with Aman tour were simply unforgettable. We want to say a special thank you to the driver of the car we drove, his name is Neway. He is a true master of his craft and a man with an open soul. Our guide is Shasha, how much we learned thanks to him and how many hours he spent to tell us everything. Guys, you are a great team and will forever remain in our hearts! We visited the tribes with great interest, took many photos, and heard many stories about culture and life, traditions and rules, about incredible life in Ethiopia. In addition to the program that was planned, the guys tried to show us parks with animals, local cafes, sights in the cities that we passed along the way. Ethiopia touched us, experienced travelers, to the core. It was amazing and interesting. Best regards, Igor and Inna. We miss you.
