A huge thank you to Norman! What a fantastic way to spend a morning . Excellent walking and breathtaking views. Having a local guide who is passionate and knowledgeable about his city & his mountains added so much to the experience. Truly a memorable day. Would recommend without hesitation .

Had a great hiking excursion in Bergen! The hike itself was beautiful with amazing scenery throughout. Our guide, Matheus, was fantastic — very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He shared lots of interesting information along the way and created a great atmosphere for the group. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bergen and looking for a memorable outdoor experience!

What a fabulous experience. Jannis met us right on time and whisked us off to the hike. He navigated the funicular purchase and we were on our way to start hiking up the mountain once we reached our stop. We hiked for several hours over rocks, through mud and trickles of water stopping periodically to admire the most magnificent views. It is so hard to comprehend that you can see the forest, the water, the mountains and the lake all in one breath. Jannis made sure that we were sure footed every step of the way and shared happily about the culture of Bergen. He paced the hike very well and could not have been more informative or friendly. His command of the English language was most admirable. The snack he brought was a very nice touch as well. Jannis really is a credit to Norway Mountain Guides! I would highly recommend this tour to anybody who is reasonably fit and able to walk for a couple of hours or so.

Nice hike with friendly, local guides! The local guides read the ability level and desire of the group and tailored the 3-4 hr hike to the group. I really enjoyed this experience with the Norwegian guides.

Best thing we did in Bergen! If you love being in nature and learning about the local culture, this is your tour. The tour guides are knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. They cater the hike to the group and change the route as they go depending on how everyone is doing or what they want to spend more time on. Exceeded our expectations! If you're looking for a small/intimate tour that will take you away from the tourist heavy areas and go off the beaten path over rocks, mud, and inclines this is it! LOVED IT, would definitely do it again!

Such a great experience. We met Oystein in Bergen and then took the train to the top. We went off the paths and into areas we would never have seen. He was so informative of the area, having lived in Bergen all his life, enjoyed listening to his adventures and seeing the amazing views. Also stopped for some yummy treats. So glad we decided to do a guided hike. Thank you

Great hike off the beaten path. Our guide told wonderful stories as a local who grew up in the area We did not understand that the Funicular ticket is a required purchase to go up the mountain ( thought it was optional for return trip). Still, well worth it in our opinion

Norman was lovely. Glad we had him as our guide. What a treat. He even gave us some chocolate and reindeer meat at the top of the mountain

Our guide was amazing but this tour is over priced. I would not recommend it unless they review the price. The funicular ticket is not even included and the tour is less than 4 hours. Anyone could do this hike without paying anything, public path. We done the Trolltunga Tour that is a 12 hours challenging hike and it cost us £40 less than this tour. I would give our guide 10 star but this tour deserves less than 1 star. Such a rip off.
