What To Expect
7:35–8:20: Tour guide picks up Option 2 guests from hotels in the Old Quarter and departs for Ha Long Bay. 11:30: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor and check in. 12:00: Board the luxury cruise, enjoy a welcome drink, and begin exploring the World Heritage site. 12:30: Lunch is served while cruising past stunning limestone formations such as Fighting Chicken and Incense Burner Islets. 14:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave on Bo Hon Island, famous for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites. 14:45: Kayak or take a bamboo boat through Luon Cave to explore the lagoon. 15:15: Stop at TiTop Island for swimming or hiking to the top for panoramic views. 16:30: Return to the cruise for a sunset party as the boat heads back. 18:00–18:15: Disembark at Tuan Chau Harbor. Guests in Option 1 continue their journey, while Option 2 guests return to Hanoi by car.

5.00We booked this the night before after looking through so many options and decided on this one as it was the cheapest!!! We were so not expecting all the little luxuries we experienced on this trip, including the very nice bus, boat, lunch, included wine with afternoon tea and the incredible service from especially our guide Brian but also all the staff! We were worried about the weather and amount of other tourists at this time of year however it really didn’t turn out to be an issue. Although it wasn’t clear blue skies we were still in the jacuzzi on the roof and went for a swim on one of the island stops. Overall very happy and would definitely recommend!!

4.00Did as advertised. About 40 on our bus when on the boat we had the upper floor & another group had the lower floor. Set meal. (plentiful & delicious), drinks extra if you didn’t want tea. Places visited extremely busy. Bamboo boat ride very short, for cave there are steps up & back, hike up steps also for mounts view(basically one long line of people!) Scenery beautiful. Our guide was knowledgeable & friendly but did go fast so it was difficult to keep up.

5.00It was a very relaxing day trip, and lunch was excellent. If you have a choice, I would recommend the Sampan boat trip instead of kayaking, as it is very crowded there and the time for kayaking is too short. The Sampan ride was slow and quiet and offered plenty of time to enjoy the scenery.

5.00We had a wonderful, eventful adventure or excursion. From the pick-up at the hotel, to Halong Bay, and back to our hotel, we just felt comfortable, safe, and well cared for. Our tour guide Ken took great care of us and gave us wonderful memories of this day. You couldn't get enough of the scenery and activities, and you didn't want to leave. There's food and drink for everyone. And of course, Barbie was the best bus driver. 😄Thanks to Ken and Barbie, we won't forget this trip. ☺️
