Summit one of Colorado’s most iconic peaks in a single, unforgettable day with Mountain Trip’s One-Day Peak Ascents in Telluride and Ouray. Since 1973, we have been guiding climbers through the rugged San Juan Mountains on personalized alpine adventures led by AMGA certified or trained guides. This trip is designed as a full-day ascent for those who want to maximize their mountain experience in a single push. Mountain Trip holds permits from the U.S. Forest Service to guide in the Wilson Group, which includes Mount Wilson, Wilson Peak, and El Diente, as well as the Sneffels Range with peaks like Mount Sneffels, Gilpin, Tea Kettle, and Stoney. We also guide Centennial 13ers such as Dallas, Vermilion, and Gladstone, and offer technical ascents of Lizard Head Peak, one of Colorado’s hardest summits. Beyond this one-day option, we also offer multi-day climbs and more advanced objectives, including the Wilson to El Diente Traverse. If you are interested in custom itineraries or bigger challenges, get in touch and we will help craft the right experience for you.
