What To Expect

All of our vehicles are brand new, clean and comfort, to take you to any place you need it. Our bilingual drivers will pick you up and drop you off as your convenience, airport, hotel or other acomodation place. For airport transportation, on your arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport exit, holding a sign with our logo and your name on it. On the way to your destination we are flexible with making stops along the way as you pleased. The pick up for tours and departures, is usually at the lobby or main entrance of the hotel. By our experience, We have stablished the more convenient routes in time and comfort for you, is very important for us that you have a peacefull and nice ride. However, please consider if you want to change the route that may have an extra charge.

Can’t say enough great things about Carlos and his team at Blue Sky! Carlos arranged several excursions for us on our visit to Costa Rica (Sloth tour, surf lessons, private boat rental, sugar cane/coffee/chocolate tour) and served as our personal driver from Liberia airport to Tamarindo, Tamarindo to La Fortuna, and La Fortuna back to the airport. Carlos was great to speak with via WhatsApp prior to the trip which was very helpful during the planning phase. He is so friendly, laid-back, and patient and genuinely wanted to ensure we enjoyed every moment of our vacation. He also encouraged us to make the most of our transportation days by building in some of the excursions mentioned as well as visiting 2 of the prominent waterfalls in the areas we traveled. Our family of 6 never felt rushed and Carlos stopped many times so that we could see local wildlife or take pictures at beautiful scenery. Blue Sky has several vans and we used 2 different ones at various points of our vacation. They were huge (seat 8+) with tons of room in the back for all of our many suitcases and carry-ons. Carlos came to us recommended by close friends that had also used Blue Sky earlier in 2024. We will be recommending him to everyone we know that is planning a trip to this amazing country. Pura Vida!

We had an amazing time in Guanacaste. Carlos was our driver and was very prompt, polite and friendly. We asked many questions about the region and advice about what would make this the most memorable trip imaginable. Carlos was so gracious to answer all questions and help us arrange more excursions than we had initially planned. We have six children so planning a combination of adventure and relaxation was a goal. We were able to enjoy zip lining, mountain tubing, horseback riding, white water rafting, rainforest eco park to view sloth, toucan/red dart frogs, deep sea fishing and snorkeling as well as lounging on the beach and enjoying several local “soda” restaurants. We have honestly checked every box. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
